  • Good omad day. Forgot to take a picture of my dinner but had a homemade hamburger, salad, drumstick ice cream. I'm kind of grossly stuffed right now. Got an 8 mile run in but did it in two parts...1st went out alone and got a lil over 4 miles then came home for an hour and headed back out with the hubs. Hope everyone had a…
  • Had a good omad day. Stayed in except for shoveling snow off the driveway, sidewalk and street gutters. That was an hour and a half of heavy work but I wanted to get some exercise in. Ate omad at 5 and was anticipating getting to eat. Much easier for me when I spend time away from the house. Made some enchiladas, black…
  • Thank you Nevadaden :) I really enjoy my jogging time. Unfortunately, I won't be able to do it for a few days...we're getting a bunch of snow today and I'm always afraid to slip... so I stay home. I had a good omad day. Had errands to run before the snow so that took a few hours of food thoughts away. I'm so happy that I'm…
  • Today went well. Did a shorter run because I had a dentist appointment. Ate chick fil A on the way home so no pic. Hope everyone had a great, easy day! Hasta manana :)
  • Ok I'm bacccck. I just posted a long post and then hit edit and poof the whole thing was gone...So I'm just gonna say I'm rejoining everyone here and will try to put up a pic of my dinner and exercise every day. Had spaghetti and meat sauce (couldn't finish it all), asparagus ( a few of the spears in the pic) and I'm…
  • Still here but haven't been keeping up on posting or reading. Omading but having a bite (like a tomato) once during the day. So very busy, I can't tell you how fast the time is flying by for me. Hopefully after the holidays life will slow down. Hope everyone is making positive strides. <3
  • I'm still here! Just been busy. I got a 7 mile run in today but haven't had dinner yet. I got into some halloween candy for two days and that threw me off and had me craving more sugar. Haven't had any in 5 days now phewwww. Having Armenian kiftas for dinner; bulgar wheat, tomato paste, olive oil, diced onion, yellow/green…
  • Yes, I'm in Denver. Has not really been cold yet. Pretty weird. Denver does advertise more sunny days a year than Miami. Pretty tired today. I keep waking up before 5am and really only getting about 5 hours sleep. Did my run and kept going till I hit 7 miles. Dinner was leftover chicken cutlet in a baguette and a kale…
  • Good OMAD day. I did my run later...around 9am and that helps get me closer to my dinner OMAD time. Less time to twiddle my thumbs. It's not super hot out anymore so I will aim for the later start time. Had chicken parmesan, pasta with red sauce, broccoli, and a pudding cup. Yep...I'm stuffed :) Hope everyone has a great…
  • Great goal and I share that one with you. Consistency will get us there o:) o:)
  • Good luck JP...lil by lil we learn about ourselves. We are our own ultimate doctor. We had hail like that a few years back in Denver, it did a lot of damage. I think we got a new roof out of it.
  • Great loss Tracey! 1% loss on body fat is really good. It takes me forever to go down 1%. Carbs really slow me down too and rev up my appetite. Not so bad though when I'm doing omad which is a blessing.
  • Omad was fine today. Being accountable on here is really helping me out. Got my run in and had a tuna sandwich for dinner and baked beans, also a chocolate pudding cup. Days are going by quickly and I'm starting to worry about Christmas already :# I'll probably get another couple thousand steps in as it's just 6:20 right…
  • Jade you are doing awesome. I can't imagine being as active as you are with vertigo. I hope you get it figured out. I didn't know that carbs help with the vertigo. Have you tried an electrolyte drink? I'm not careful with my food in regards to vertigo. I'll have to look into that. I hope it goes away soon and STAYS away…
  • Hi Jade :) So sorry to hear that your vertigo is ongoing. I think I told you that I have meniere's...rotational vertigo. But...it only happens maybe once a year. I can't imagine it being ongoing. Doc have any clue as to what is going on? Wish I could help you out. Good OMAD again today & got my run in. Trying to not run as…
  • Thanxxx T & Jade...ya...my lifelong 'one thing'....It's all good just gotta keep things in check. Jade I always say that if you hold onto weight you actually have a great survivor metabolism...it's just not so great in times of abundant food but we would have been survivors 100's of years ago. Today was a successful omad…
  • First two days went well :) I'm so relieved to have gotten through them. I definitely think posting on here is helping. I had a gyro for dinner and fajitas last night. Both pretty yummy. Hope everyone had a great day <3
  • Hellllllllllo everyone :* Everything went well in Vegas and I stuck to OMAD but....after I got home I reintroduced carbs and and then worked myself into some stressful situations where I didn't put my goals first. I stopped OMAD and...Result...gained 8 pounds despite still running 6 days a week. It doesn't take much for me…
  • Welcome & I'm glad you found the board. One day at a time makes new habits and from there it gets to be thought free :) I'll be gone for a week but look forward to reading your successes when I get back <3
  • Gosh yeah Brenda, hard to keep going without results. I'm trying to think of it simply as the new norm and even without weight loss it's still doing positive things for my body. The weight def has to come off eventually....just can't eat so much better and less and exercise and stay over weight...wouldn't be logical. Kinda…
  • It's definitely nice to not have to think of three different menus a day :) We don't have any junk food in the house either...everyone is eating better in our house. Did you figure out how to post pictures? Hmmmm I post from my apple laptop...What I do is select a pic from my iphone then I tap the 'air drop' icon under the…
  • Looks yummy Brenda! Looks like you're truckin' right along :)
  • All's good in the hood. Kinda head tripping lately...like I'm not doing enough. But...I've been busy so the negative self talk is disappearing pretty quickly. I hadn't weighed in 2 weeks and felt heavy but was pleasantly surprised that I went down 2 pounds since the 1st. Been doing omad and running everyday. Going to Vegas…
  • Sounds like you are enjoying the new season. We just planted some trees along our fence also. They should grow to 12-15 feet. It was hard work! Your jam sounds delish and I also have never had any.
  • You're doing great Brenda! One day at a time till it becomes habit. So satisfying to see such great results from KISS. :)
  • It was scrumptidilicious >:)
  • "Productive, not Destructive"....I LOVE that! I turn the music way up when I'm cleaning. I start in one small area and won't leave it till it's perfect. If you flutter around you'll get overwhelmed and won't feel like you got anything done. I also keep a big garbage bag by my side and a couple rags and cleaning fluids. I…
  • I'll def take a picture of the flower box. I'm hoping it'll look neat & crisp. I normally only put red and white petunias. Trees...we just got 6 - 6ft emerald green arborvitaes. Gotta dig some big holes. Had aspens along our fence line separating our house from our back neighbors and they died (the trees) after 20…
  • Loooove my kitty....actually share her with my son who's living with us right now. Hope everyone had a great mother's Day! We had a very yummy brunch with lots of carbs ( I used sugar free maple syrup at least). Kind of hard the next day for me but today more normal omad except for some left over bacon about 45 min before…
  • Good, busy day. I got extra steps in because I helped a very old woman carry her groceries home. A tote full of cans that was very heavy. Poor thing kept switching hands going up a hill. I was surprised that we walked a mile from where I saw her :o Got a longer jog too because I ran back home from her house. Easy light…
