@jugar thank you, to be honest the weight loss this week was a bit of a surprise, a good one of course! I just realized I didn't formally welcome all our new/returning teammates - so WELCOME!! 🎆👋😁👍🎉 You will find so much support and encouragement here! A friend inspired me to go to the gym with her and I feel so much…

@micki48 here are my steps from last week. Not great, I was in an emotional funk and my motivation was MIA. But I've since pulled out of that and found it again. I want to keep my daily goal of 5,000 and try to reach 10,000 at least once per week.

Hi everyone I'm Jackie and I've been a member of this team for a few months now. I live with my husband of 8 years and our cat in Michigan, USA. I work as a therapist for mental health and addictions which requires a lot of sitting 😬 we recently started transitioning back into the office for some face to face visits which…

I've been there before, so many times! I've since adopted the mindset of 1 day at a time, I can't control what will happen tomorrow but I can certainly make today a healthy one! Also not getting hung up on those days where I'm not as active or I eat more treats, one day doesn't have to affect a whole lifestyle of changes.…

PW 242.1 CW 243.4 LTD 25.6 I anticipate my next weigh in showing a loss as I'm confident much of the gain is due to inflammation and water retention. I'm not letting the scale bother me either way 😊 Today I completed a workout at home and some house cleaning, and at the moment I'm grilling marinated meat and veggies to…

@micki48 @jugar Here are my steps for the week. I also swam 26 minutes Sunday 7/19 and 70 minutes Saturday 7/25. I let myself be a bit more sedentary this week than I have been lately as I was feeling PMS'y, but I still exceeded my overall weekly goal of 35,000 steps, plus swimming, so that counts for something. I also…

I do the same thing, if I look at my belly or thighs all I see is jiggle and more work to do, but when I look in the mirror I'm also pleasantly surprised with the body staring back at me. I suppose it's a good reminder of how important perspective can be, both physically and mentally.

@evangsimmons170 sorry to hear about your knee :/ I've injured my knee multiple times and it's such a pain, literally! Something that might help is to consume high-collagen foods or supplements. Glucosamine is definitely a good one. Hope you're able to heal well!

I like the Starkist flavored tuna or chicken pouches with wheat crackers or on a tortilla, topped with chopped veggies of choice (I prefer onion and cucumber). There are also the shelf-stable Oscar Mayer P3 pre-made snack trays (they usually have a portion of nuts and jerky or other meat).

@micki48 here are my steps for last week, sorry I'm late I didnt have internet access! @jugar I also had a 30 minute 4 mile bicycle ride last Monday

@conleywoods congrats!! You look amazing and so happy. So inspiring! @jugar may I use my weight for today? I will be camping for the next few days and won't be around a scale or internet service until sometime next week. If so my numbers are as follows: PW 243.2 CW 242.1 LTD 26.9 If not I'll post my weigh in some time next…

Loving all the motivations phrases and affirmations. Studies show that positive self-talk is extremely effective in boosting mood and making healthy changes. @eggfreak it was weird when I first started working in the office again, kinda felt like my first day all over again lol. But it was also really nice to feel a sense…

@jugar I've adopted this phrase from a friend: "Progress over perfection". This applies to so many things in life and really helps me to see the little improvements and focus on those rather than giving up when I'm not perfect (which is pretty much always lol). Today this definitely applied, hubs and I went out to dinner.…

PW 243.3 lbs CW 243.2 lbs LTD: 25.8 lbs @jugar @micki48 As stated before I didn't get a lot of steps in this week. But I'm feeling more motivated again to make this next week more successful as far as movement goes. I was under my calorie goal all week, some days by quite a lot. I'm a little surprised I didn't have more of…

Currently at 49 days. I had over 365 but lapsed in Oct 2019. My goal is to surpass that streak. Feel free to add me 😊

I haven't been very active this week. I've been working in the office a lot to distract myself from losing my walking buddy :'( That being said I did go to the gym Monday and did a bunch of cardio and arm workouts. I was also able to run for 3 minutes on the treadmill. Running is not something I could ever do before so I'm…

@jugar PW 245 lbs CW 243.3 lbs LTD 25.7 lbs @micki48 I had a pretty good week and nice movement on the scale. I'm not in much of a celebratory mood though, our dog passed away unexpectedly last night. I may not check in for a couple days, but I will keep logging. Not planning to look for comfort in food.

@conleywoods ballet workouts sound really fun! And like a lot of work. Don't feel embarrassed, embrace those sore muscles 😉 Do you have videos that you follow or take a course? @Terytha I want to hear about that chocolate wine - is it thick like milk or more wine-like consistency? I recently switched to the occasional hard…

Yay I'm finally able to get on here again! MFP has been giving me trouble. @jugar thank you! Yes my bicycle is working and I went for a ride, it felt really great. I will post the ride stats in addition to my weekly step count at the end of Saturday or early Sunday. Eating has been okay, could be better, could be worse.…

Finally caught up on all the posts! I've run into the issue with MFP Community section being down a few times lately :s We celebrated father's day yesterday because not everyone was available on Sunday (I have 4 siblings and with spouses and nieces/nephews and our mom & dad there are 17 of us so coordinating schedules can…

@Terytha your cake looks lovely! My box cakes don't even turn out that nice when I try to layer them lol it always gets lopsided. Great job for a first time homemade cake!! @ells_runs really great step count! Your low day is one of my high days lol. The mountain climb sounds like it would be so peaceful and great exercise…

This week has just slipped right by me. I'm still logging every day and doing well with keeping a calorie deficit but haven't made time to check in here in a bit, sorry about that. I was able to go to the gym for the first time in 3 months and felt really good after. Although I've been active I noticed my strength and…

Ugh I hate when that happens, which is a lot lately. I like what @micki48 said that the scale is not the only way to measure progress. Hopefully you see some results soon! I planned to take my dog for a walk after work but it stormed so I jogged around the house for a bit. We also had a double rainbow which was amazing!
