The body adapts to whatever stress you put on it! That, and I am probably certifiably crazy. ETA: I used to be a big time runner, these things are slow 2-3 milers, nothing to write home about. Also, I may or may not half-*kitten* a workout if I'm not really feeling it. Plus, I'm still eating 2800 cals.

Only if it's cool ranch.

My exact schedule varies week to week depending on what's going on in my life, but a typical week for me would look something like this: Sun: rest day (walk/yoga) Mon: Lower lifting and crossfit Tues: Upper lifting and running Wed: crossfit Thur: Lower lifting and running Fri: Upper lifting and crossfit Sat: running I have…

I haven't had the Fit Crunch bars yet, but keep hearing good things about them.
-
Maybe you could, but what a sad life to eat that only LOL
-
Thanks, guys!
-
I'm addicted to the Robert Irvine Fit Crunch brownies. A box of six from Ocean State Job Lot is only $3.99 and they taste awesome!
-
That should be included in your daily activity. Change your settings to active.
-
Congratulations! Love the recap!

What's the reason for the pound a week gain goal? The faster you gain, the more fat you'll gain, not extra muscle.
-
You're not a bad weight for your height, especially since you're lifting. I'm 5'5" and 140 now at the end of my bulk. If you ate at tdee and 1800 on lifting and non lifting days respectively, you'll still make great progress.
-
I know you did. I'm looking forward to being muscled and "overweight" to supposedly decrease my life expectancy.
-
Agreed.
-
My TDEE is huge because I never stop moving lol
-
When I stopped, I wasn't taking into account the drop in water weight, so I wasn't really thinking straight until I saw the scale so far under where I want to be. I'm mostly just tired of eating so much. I was still on 2800, so I didn't really think I'd drop. Back to 3k for while.
-
So, after like 2 weeks of recomping after my bulk I'm back to bulking a little because I dropped like 4 lbs. Blah.
-
I started my fitness journey at BMI 19, currently in the 24s. Can't wait until I hit 25.
-
I do crossfit as part of my training. I enjoy it and it's helped me to become a more competitive obstacle course racer.
-
All this. Rest days don't necessarily mean complete inactivity.
-
You're only doing yourself a disservice, as you are clearly not sedentary. Liquid cals are your friend.
-
I lift, do crossfit, and run. I also walk. A lot. People think I don't have a car because my feet are my primary mode of transportation! I walk about 5-10 miles a day.
-
I'm a 36yo 5'5" (now) 140 lb female who slow bulked on 3k cals while averaging about 18k steps a day. Yes, you need to eat all those calories. I agree with @sardelsa. Go have a burger with fries and a beer... follow it up with an ice cream sundae.
-
IDK, what are your stats?
-
As long as you're eating to compensate, you're fine. I bulk and average 18k steps a day.
-
Only extra weight you'll lose is water weight through sweat and you'll gain it back as soon as you drink some water.
-
Not sure if I want a cold glass of milk or a burger now... :|

Love this!
