I do it the other way around. If I fancy a glass of wine I know that by the end of the week I'll have drunk it all, so I enter the whole bottle's worth of calories on the day I open it. On a pc you can create a 7 day calories report in the Reports tab. Doesn't total them for you but it does display them all together so easy enough to do a quick tally.

I've already lost 63 of my 75, I'm no longer overweight, and the last 12 pounds is just to get me to the middle of the healthy weight range. it's taken two years with the occasional bump along the way but gosh it's been worth it. Keep your eye on the goal and Good Luck!

Garmin Vivosmart here and I love it, the Connect software is great too. I rarely use the app, I prefer to look at Garmin Connect on a computer screen, but the app does the syncing and is very reliable.
