You are over-weight, so that should be your main and secondary focus. Learn to count calories and eat at a deficit. That sounds easy, but that is really all you need to do. It is not easy of course. Activity helps. Then when you get to your target weight and your blood sugar is still high, start to think about changing to…

Products might work a little, like coconut oil also gives you immediate "free ketones" or some such. But, basically eat mostly fat, some protein and no carbs and you should go to ketosis.

Why not trying to go "cold turkey" haha. I did just the same 8 days ago. Going well so far. Also, I am on intermittent fasting (eat all my calories before 3PM every day), started at the same time 8 days ago. I have a theory that I am addicted to sugar. Going "cold turkey" seems to work better so far. I feel myself not…

Artificial sweeteners can still work a little bit like sugar. They affect your blood glucose levels and seem to make you want sugary snacks (cookies, candy, cake) more. I found the more carbs I ate, the more I yearned for sugary snacks (cookies, candy). For example, if I ate some sweet sugary bread, it would make me more…

Couple of eggs, tried to drain some of the white. Some thick bacon I cooked yesterday and had in the fridge. Some veggie, not sure what it is called, but it was leafy and had purplish water come out when I cooked it with garlic. I scooped on a tbsp of mayonaise and I had a teaspoon of Coconut oil.

Made some edits, do not need that variable R* as X already has the total number of stars currently in our observable universe.

Keep a log of your daily meals, calories and try to be more active (exercise) if you can.

I used this as a source to form the equation: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drake_equation#Estimates X = Number of stars in observable universe R* = the average rate of star formation in our galaxy fp = the fraction of those stars that have planets ne = the average number of planets that can potentially support life per…

Yeah I realize, I was trying not to be overly accurate and kind of speak in generic terms. Too much water can create an "imbalance" as you say, but most people are unlikely to get to that. And I do mean it, one day I drank so much water I literally felt drunk. So yeah too much is not good either. The main message that…

Yes but use protection.

More water is better, unless you start to feel a little giddy / drunk (which has happened to me). Water weight is not bad weight as it is not "real" weight. It is just water and it does no harm to your body.

On the site it determines your daily calories in-take on how active you tell it you are every day and how much / quick you would like to lose. For example: lightly active or active (postman or waitress). Presumably you clean every week and calories are not huge either. So it kind of smoothes into "lightly active" or…
