  • By "over cals" do you mean over maintenance or over goal?
  • 1500 calories a day may be less than a pound a week for you (even with exercise), and if you are counting calories honestly then it's possible you actually have lost 3-4 pounds of fat but you can't see it on the scale because of temporary weight retention (maybe you're gaining some muscle).   • Yeah that's pretty much nothing. You're not stalling either, weight is normally lost with on and off periods of weight retention despite constant fat loss.
  • How long have you been dieting for? If it's been two weeks, then you're overestimating calorie intake. If it's been less than two weeks, give it time. You may have burned fat but not lost weight because of water retention.
  • People suck and they don't want you to succeed. Don't allow them that victory, use their dissatisfaction as your motivator to keep going.
  • There's no way 2200 calories a day will make lose weight. Reset your activity level to something reasonable.
  • Diets don't work. The only thing that works are permanent changes to eating habits. Point is, you shouldn't need constant motivation.
