  • That's a great attitude to have. (The I'm easy bit.) Get yourself set up, don't try to lose too much, and stick with it! Don't cut out all your favourite foods, there's no need, just reduce the bad stuff and increase the good stuff so that you get full.
  • I ding higher protein foods more filling too. Being veggie, it can be difficult, but two boiled eggs in sourdough bread, with no butter, just mixed with a little mayo and finely chopped lettuce, is very filling for lunch and not mega calories.
  • I hope you are keeping it up! 😊
  • Hello, add me as a friend if you would like. I have an open diary and post comments and 'blog's, we can motivate each other. 😊
  • If you feel overheated then rest. It won't hurt for a while if you are still within your calories. You could always take a walk In the evening when it's cooler.
  • It sounds more like gluten intolerance to me. I get reactive hypoglyceamia and it comes on later than you seem to have your reaction. It is all just guesswork here though, see a doctor.
  • This is correct. If you go to the goals area, you change your weight to your current weight and your calories will be reduced. You have to do this after losing each 10 to 15 lbs.
  • I don't eat breakfast either, for the same reason as above, I can quite easily thrive on coffee only for breakfast, often I will have a piece of fruit mid morning if I fancy it. If I eat breakfast I'm starving by 11am, so eat my lunch, then I'm starving by 3pm, so buy a snack, then starving by dinner time, so over eat. In…
  • Are there circular routes near where you live, or railways? Once you have built up some fitness, choose somewhere you want to explore.
  • Cycling on the flat is surprisingly easy, I cycled with a fractured ankle on the flat, in a cast, and it was fine.
  • Have you changed your weight in the goals setting? You need to adjust your weight there as well as logging it in the progress bit, otherwise you will be eating at maintenance.
  • I hope your surgery goes well tomorrow. It's the beginning of a new chapter. 😊
  • How much have you lost? You will need to change your stats in your profile when you have lost half a stone or so, which will reduce your calorie allowance, otherwise you will be eating to retain your current weight.
  • Therapy sounds like a good plan to get over these feelings. Its not a good way to live. Self esteem is soooo important for a happy life.
  • Much? Or not at all? The less you have to lose, the slower it will come off, also, have you adjusted your weight in your profile? That will alter the daily calorie allowance. If you are excersizing more, then you will be building up muscle, which is heavier than fat. As long as you look in better shape and feel healthy,…
  • If you are still losing, despite the cheating, then it's not really cheating. No food is banned on a calorie controlled diet. If there are treats you really want a couple of times a week, or every day, then enter them into the diary in the morning, then plan the rest of your day around them. You might end up eating loads…
  • What is it that makes you cave in? Find out what the trigger is and try to avoid it. If you see a cream cake and can't resist buying it, then don't take money out with you. If you are buying food in a canteen/cafe for lunch, then take a packed lunch. If it's boredom, then have carrot sticks ready and already entered into…
  • Have you explained that you have worked hard to lose weight and that the food gifts are unwanted?
  • Only count specific excersize as a workout. You can track walks , cycling etc with the Samsung app, so don't eat back normal walking, but you CAN eat back around half of specific workouts.(As they usually estimate too many calories).
  • Just for today I WILL do 50 squats!
  • Sit ups and leg raisers will help with the belly. You will lose fat where your body chooses, now in specific areas. Just concentrate on muscle tone and the results will be seen. 😊
  • I don't know where you live, but here in Dorset, UK, many of the parks have outdoor gyms. They are spread out around the perimeter of the park, so you walk or run between them and do each in turn. If you don't have them, then just getting out and walking is great free excersize, try to find hilly areas for an extra…
  • You will be gaining muscle, so the actual weight loss will not tell the whole picture. Take a photo of yourself and compare yourself in a month, if you keep up whats seems to be a very retrictive diet with the amount of excersize you are doing, you will see a great improvement.
  • Just start off by walking. You will damage your joints if you do high impact excersize at your weight. Build up the speed and distance each week and, when you have started losing weight, add some home routines such as weights, step aerobics etc.
  • If you are starving from 6pm what time do you have your evening meal? I'm starving at 6pm too, but that's when I'm getting home from work and cooking dinner. Space out your meals more and have healthy snacks in between. I usually have a banana mid afternoon. I don't normally eat lunch until at least 1pm as I find it easier…
  • Being diagnosed with diabetes can be such a shock, but it it a wake up call. You will have to make changes, but you don't have to do everything at once. Try to improve your diet for the first few weeks, then start excersizing gently but regularly, walking is best for starters. You should be sent on an education seminar to…
  • You have had such a hard time. I can only imagine the pain of losing a loved one so horribly. You could try focusing on the bypass revision. Look at it as a clean slate, your new chance to prove that you can do it. After the op, really focus on how full you feel as you eat. Eat slowly and only prepare enough for your…
  • You are doing so well!! Try not to lose focus, you will regret it. Imagine yourself looking back and wondering how on earth you managed to put all that Wright back on! Not a happy thought. Now try looking back and being really pleased at how you were able to get down to your goal weight. Happy happy thought!! 😁
  • Just make sure it's digital! Much more accurate.
  • Fill in all the details in your profile and you will be allocated a number of calories to eat each day. When you lose weight, update your details and the calorie allowance will be reduced accordingly, otherwise you will be eating the number of calories to maintain the weight you are. Also, only add around have the calories…
