I've struggled with depression & anxiety for years and I've struggled to cope. Everyone's different so my tips may not work for you but could also be helpful. 1. Eat better foods. Giving your body the nutrients it requires will help reduce your hunger and for me has improved my mood. 2. Exercise. You'll become physically…

It's possible yes and I'm close to achieving that myself. Consistency is crucial so make sure you're eating at the right calorie deficit and do your best not to slip up. I'm eating at 1800 calories and I avoid eating sugary foods. That's all I do really, my physical activity has been quite low but want to become active for…

I need to lose 1lb to take my weight loss total to 50lbs. Currently I'm on day 107 and eat 1800 calories max per day so the goal itself is very achievable.

The jobs I've worked during the past few years (admin temp jobs) including the job I currently have I can't say I enjoy. I would like work a job where I can make a difference and something that'll make me proud. Although I am not set on a career yet I do have ideas and in the meantime I'll continue to explore my options.

I appreciate all of you sharing your experience and methods of coping. I personally used food to numb my emotions for a long time but I've managed to stop doing this as I gained an unhealthy relationship with food and basically was binge eating nearly everyday. I use music which does help a little but it's not enough. I…

Yep over the last 4 years I gained somewhere around 72-80lbs. I've recently started my weight loss journey and am having good success but I had taken sometime to get to this point. The biggest issue for me was my dependence on food to alter my emotion. I often find myself depressed and used food to temporarily numb my…

That's what I'm doing now. I don't like to think of what I'm doing as dieting. Yes I'm restricting calories to lose weight BUT I still don't consider this a diet and more of a lifestyle change. If you have seen what I eat you'll notice I don't eat great foods either and just things I would normally enjoy consuming.…

Yes I put all the weight back on that I had lost in 2013 and more! I've struggled with binge eating (nearly on a daily basis) since 2014 and generally have just been extremely unhappy. I've managed to change my mindset though and actually feel pretty positive and ambitious once again.

You're making great progress and love the attitude well done!

You'll find in the first week you'll lose a lot of weight but this is mostly water weight. It will slow down so don't worry about the weight loss being too fast.
