So far this month I have been able to have a few glasses of wine only on the weekends. My willpower is finally paying off!!

Me too. I finally got a handle on it and want to continue having maybe just a few on the weekends if at all.

I have no wine or beer that I like in the house at the moment. The depression I have been feeling on and off for the past 4 years is finally lifting which will definitely make a difference. I have gotten myself back into a steady exercise routine as well. So far so good!!

Thanks. Did good that one day then ended up finishing the bottle during the week. I think I will have to try not keeping any wine or beer that I like around. If it's not here, I can't drink it. I have gotten better at my portion sizes though. I now measure it out instead of just filling the glass to the top. I used so…

I almost slipped up before. I had the wine glass out, looked at my stomach, and back went the wine glass into the cabinet.

My goal is to have only 1-2 drinks on Sunday nights. I feel pretty confident I can do it. Only time will tell.

Hi. I would love to join this. I used to be able to have a couple of drinks on the weekend and none during the week. But in the last 4 yrs since my layoff after 17 yrs on the job, caring for my parents, and both of their passings, I have found myself to be drinking more. I'd like to go back to the couple on the weekends…
