I'm not expert in this. However, I am just taking it day by day. Some days your up some days your down. Don't make this a be all and end all. It's a journey and life style change. Take advice from everyone but only you can decide is right for you.

I honestly could not do keto or low carb diets. I find it hard keeping to normal carbs now.

For walking or running (walking which I'm currently doing due to my weight but hope to build up to my running days that I used to do way back in my late teens and early twenties), I used no music, just the sound of nature got me thru. But when I weight trained, it took music. !!!

I'm in no way expert in this as I am currently overweight and novice to this. However I got my username from a quote that has stuck with me. "BACK2BASICS". Well more so talk radio for me mostly , but yea on odd occasions can't beat the 90's dance music classics.

If you like tins of tuna. My personal favourite, tin of John West tuna 'chunks' in spring water. Great for a snack and filling with protein hit also.

I got to say I would take fruit any day over vegetables. If anyone here has ideas on how to jive up vegetables, I would be keen to hear.

Currently 17 stone 6 lb. My goal weight. 14stone 0lb. Not sure how many lbs that is but it's 3 stone 6lb to loose.
