Fantastic quitting the cigarettes, that is a massive boost to your physical health.

I am on the same situation. Two weeks holidays has thrown me of course. Slowly trying to get back in line. Wish you luck.

I agree

All the very best of luck on your fitness journey.

Can I ask what is elliptical?
-
Good luck on your reaching your goals.

Got to say. Exercising alone is great, I find it stress relief being in my own zone for an hour or so. We are all different in how we like to exercise.

Well done.
-
Good luck on dropping the few lbs

Good luck in your journey

Keep in up.

Yes, I agree with the resistance band during the day when you can. I try to use this as much as can for a shoulder injury I have.

Good luck in your journey. I've been on this from September last year. I'm 36 years old and was at my heaviest weight ever in September 2017 which has kicked me into doing something about it.

Anyone here suffer cramp or shin splints while walking or running?

Been walking really well. However, had holiday there, finding it hard to get back on the road again.

Well I am gradually loosing lbs, sometimes it goes up sometimes it stays same then it goes down. I'm taking this journey as the long haul. I'm not using this app as a quick fix diet fad. They simply don't work. My downfall is pizza n Chinese takeaway's too ,lol. But I find this app great as I can still enjoy these on a…

I totally agree with this. I have made small changes however appear to be getting results. I still enjoy my pizza and Chinese nights. Best of luck.

Yes, I would be similar, try be very good during the week so my weekends I can treat.

Great advice. Also portion control along with exercise.

Not sure however as you probably know already, constant headache's, you should really seek professional medical opinion if they continue. Congratulations on your 8lbs weight loss.

I'm a man. Weigh just under 17 stone now. I am on 1790 calories daily. I find this just about right atho some days it is hard to stick within this. Especially if I don't get out for my walk. Personally I don't think I could achieve 1500 a day. Good luck finding your right setting
-
Totally NOT lol. I enjoy the day or maybe two not logging.

I agree with the above quote. You did not fail. You lost consistency but it is possible to gain it back. You only fail when you give up. And sounds like you have not given up. Good luck getting back into healthy eating lifestyle.

I intergrated some light jogging into my daily walk today. Felt good.

For my exercise I use this formula. (Distance in miles / time X by 60 min). I am in rather same situation as yourself. Since September last year, began limiting calorie intake and exercising. So the formula above calculates my average pace which inturn I enter into mfp exercise which calculates calories burned by that…

I do night duty for periods during the year also. I find this time difficult more for maintaining energy levels to keep up with my exercise rather that logging meals. What I do is, do thing in reverse. #dinner at before work logged as dinner. Then in middle of the night have my lunch, then home for breakfast. Good luck in…

I am from the UK. However I do need to loose 50lbs+ and within the 35-45 age group. As for the acid reflux. I had this for a while, however I don't know what caused it or why it rarely comes now and again.

After few weeks off for Christmas and New Year. Now it is time to get back daily logging and exercise by means of walking.
-
I remember this, it was strange but great show lol.

I'm in this club too. Battling my way back from a number of years enjoying my weekends too much with beer and takeaways lol.
