What are your goals for this next year? I would like to run a 5K... with other people...in a race... I also want to increase my running time to 2hrs, and just get better at running overall. Where do you want to be a year from now? A year from now, I'd like to have accomplished the above haha! But seriously, I want to be…

Dec. 20 - 1.5km short elliptical jaunt just to say I did something. MTD - 34km/60km
-
Dec. 19 - 4.6km MTD - 32.6km/60km First run in over a week. Holy *kitten* I gotta get my butt in gear. The weather has finally warmed a little, 0°C, for a change so I got out after work and almost tumbled twice.

@seanevan10 "Welcome to our Home" wall plaques. I'm staining pine boards with Minwax then using a stencil and paint for the words. I then need to varathane it like 3 times.

Another "rest" day for me yesterday and probably today... This -20C weather is really messing with my running schedule... on the bright side, it means I've been able to make 2 out of 5 Christmas presents for my family, and I've started 3 and 4!
-
@SusanDSME yes definitely give it a try.
-
@SusanDSME I just knew if I didn't go today I probably wouldn't go for the next couple either and I hadn't gone the last few! I just needed to get out there. 24°F has been one of my favourite running temps since I started running a couple months ago.

Well I was right... I went for a walk this afternoon and was NOT prepared for the cold... A pair of leggings, and a pair of sweats, a wind breaker, sweater, and tank top, and a hat! Still not enough for -12°C. I still haven't warmed up. :( Dec. 11 - 6.1km MTD - 28km/60km

Finally caught up, I was about 200 posts behind. Haven't been running the last couple days. Work had our annual inventory count yesterday so that's had my focus the last 4 days. I'd like to go for a run today but the temp has now dropped to -13°c... Not sure if I'm prepared for that kind of temp.

It seems to work pretty well for what I need... I'm not a long distance gal though so I'm not sure what battery life will really be like. I do like the dimming feature and the headband doesn't slip or move. I also didn't notice much bobbing of the light while I ran.

@PastorVincent that's the one. It goes for about $23 but I get a discount where work and got it for $13

Dec. 7 - 5.3km MTD - 21.8km/60km After everyone's headlamp talks yesterday I went out and bought myself one -_- thanks everyone! I picked up an energizer like @juliet3455 with a red mode and three light modes that dim.

Nov. 6 - 4.5km MTD - 16.5km/60km

No running today... Had a sore spot on the top of my right foot after reaching for a price tag on a top shelf at the store... It's been bugging me off and on for a month or so when I flex my foot a certain way. :/ I'm also getting a lot of heel pain (both feet) so I think I'm going to take a couple days off to try and heal…
-
Unplanned rest today but I met my goal of 80km yesterday! @skippygirlsmom Congrats on the job front. You're going to rock it!
-
December goal is 60km... I'm thinking with the holidays and the cold weather we're going to see at some point I'll make a conservative goal and maybe blow it out of the water if the weather cooperates.
-
Nov. 29 - 3.54km + 1.07km run/walk. For some reason the cold (only - 5°C) got to me today after it being +10°C yesterday for my run. MTD - 81.4km/80km
-
Nov. 28 - 3.8km did some random sprints. It was 10°C! So over dressed. MTD - 76.8km/80km
-
*Just call me Pacey Lessbreath haha* Nov. 27 - 6.2km walk MTD - 73km/80km
-
@Eire228 Congratulations!
-
Nov. 26 - 2km + 4.3km walk to work and run after work. MTD - 66.8km/80km

Another rest day for me. We were short staffed at work which meant running around the store all day. We wear steel toes so the feet are really tired and sore. I'll walk to and from work tomorrow to make up for it.
-
Nov. 24 - 2km walked home from work since the truck is in the shop. MTD - 60.5km/80km
-
Nov. 23 - 4.5km MTD - 58.5km/80km

Happy Thanksgiving everyone in the US and congrats/good luck Turkey Trotters! Sounds like some amazing running has been going on today.
-
Nov. 21 - 3.5km elliptical MTD - 54km/80km
-
Nov. 20 - 4.3km it was supposed to be a rest day but it looked so nice outside (a little sun, snowflakes falling and -4°C) I decided to head out before the hubby got up. It also helped me make up some KM since I've had a couple unscheduled rest days. MTD - 50.5km/80km
-
Nov. 19 - 4.35km. First snow filled run of the season. The sidewalks and roads were in pretty good shape, a couple of places had lots of snow where the plow went by but for my first snowy run it wasn't too bad. Will probably (definitely) do it again. MTD - 46.2km/80km
