  • I absolutely love Halotop ice cream. Pistachio is there only flavor I've been disappointed by, the rest I've tried are amazing. Can't believe a serving is so few calories considering the tastiness level.
  • A tiny little ice-cream-scoop-style melon baller. It's great for portion control. Also small Pyrex bowls. It's amazing how much less I eat when I combine the two. Two little scoops of ice cream or cookie dough in a little Pyrex dish feels like too much with them, when it's less than half or what I would eat without them.
  • Even though I have a fitness tracker, I don't trust it. I shoot for my calories, and I view any that my fitness tracker counts as burned as a bonus gift to myself. It's very frustrating, but there really isn't a reliable way to see how much you've burned exactly.
  • Drink a huge glass of water before bed. Maybe two or three. It makes it easier to wake up when the alarm goes off if you're dying to hit the head.
  • I'm new to the "eat enough calories" game. I recently started a new medication that makes me NEVER hungry. It's amazing to realize how difficult it is to hit 1200 calories when all you can think about is how much you don't want to eat anything.
