  • Welcome! Two tips that have helped me: be realistic with your calorie intake targets, and honest in your calorie recording. Adjust your diet as necessary, and you'll lose the weight. I've lost over 13lbs (in the UK we use stones & pounds generally) and it's been so much easier to keep track using MFP. Good luck!

  • I've recently re-started calorie counting with MFP after using Calorie Counter for quite a few years. It's amazing that I've lost 4.5 pounds in just 2 weeks. Set a calorie goal and stick with it, and you should get there too. Like you, I'm not trying for fitness - yet!
