How’s your protein levels? If they are too high relative to your needs, gluconeogenesis can happen. That’s where your body converts proteins into glucose and then stores it just like carbs.

I feel 1000% better when I don’t eat carbs. I’ve found the Keto diet to be pretty self reinforcing. I feel better and the scale consistently moves when I’m eating Keto. But like most people have said, you have to find what works for you!

Here’s some tips I’ve noticed: The less carbs I eat, the less hungry I feel. It takes a day or two for the effect to take hold. I try to stay below 50 grams of carbs per day (I’ve lost 60 lbs doing this) and I almost never go over my calories. Sometimes I’m way under my calories. I eat eggs for breakfast (no toast).…

I went on several plane trips at 300 lbs, size 24. It was ok in the seat but I did have to ask for a seat belt extender a few times.

I love spin. I wear tight fitting pants (but I’m a woman). Wear something comfortable and cool. Plan to sweat a lot, so take a towel and water. Give it a few tries before passing judgement.
