  • Been bad with the 'daily' check ins, but have been doing yoga at home lately. Went to my first boot camp class today which was super tiring but also good. I plan to go twice a week when I am in this town. Class was a good hour of workout for the whole body.
  • 42 mins of yoga for core and back. Felt good after having done a 7 hour drive today.
  • Did yoga today. Excited that this week i am getting a gym membership to do fitness classes with two coworkers. I think the classes will be 2 or 3 times a week, and on other days I will do yoga and rest days.
  • Went for a walk outside today along the river for about 4km. Beautiful fall weather and tree colours.
  • Jump rope, bench press, squats, yoga. Spent almost and hour and a half.
  • 35 mins yoga, focusing on abs.
  • No workout for me today since I had errands to run in the evening and wasn't feeling up to it. Got in 2.65km worth of steps tho today from walking around at work and doing those errands. Also exceeded my calories today. I'm ok with that and am going to workout tomorrow and Friday when my boyfriend is at work and I have…
  • It's good to be accepting of yourself and where you're at. Some days will be good and some days wont. It's not much good doing a hardcore workout every day if you wont maintain it beyond 1 week; much better to find a level of exercise you can maintain long term thats a balance of challenging and enjoyable. My workouts are…
  • Did a legs workout today since i had done arms the other day. Included some jump rope which was cardio plus i could feel it in my calves. I find it difficult to feel inspired to workout my core so going to try to make myself workout my core at least three times a week as my goal now.
  • Did weights for arms, legs, and back today. Wasn't feeling like ab work. Did yoga for stretching legs too.
  • I looked into this when i first got the app too. It depends on how you set your default amount of daily exercise. When you get the app and enter your goal (such as to lose x pounds in y weeks) it asks you how much activity you do, whether your lifestyle is sedentary, light exercise, medium exercise, lots etc and the app…
  • I like the rope idea too for some fun different cardio especially on a day where the weather isn't great outside. I actually have a higher ceiling in my living room and so could get away with jumping rope inside without the rope hitting the ceiling or a light. Maybe I'll grab an extra one from my moms place tomorrow when I…
  • Did some weights for arms, legs, back. Went on treadmill for some walking and jogging for 30 mins (2 miles averaging 4 mph).
  • Let myself slack a little today. Had three 3 cookies and didnt work out. Got an ok amount of steps in from some errands and luckily climbed the stairs at work up and down 6 times on lunch break to get my heart rate up a bit. I'll makeup for today's laziness tomorrow and/or on the weekend.
  • Did 30 mins yoga today including some ab work (Yoga with Adriene- Revolution- Day 6 video on youtube. She makes yoga fun and easy to follow along) . Found the side plank more difficult than I did this past winter but feeling inspired to keep getting strength back! Felt the burn in my abs :D
  • I was having a hard time getting the energy to workout. Ended up compromising. Walked at a leisurely pace of 2.6mph at an incline for 45mins on the treadmill while watching Netflix. Didnt feel like work :)
  • Got some weights done today as well as some housecleaning including moving some heavy things down to the storage locker. Got some food planned for this week which should help me meet my protein goals. Eating protein will help keep muscle while cutting cal's, and help build new muscle.
  • Good idea msoptimistic2 about the measurements. I'll try taking some baseline measurements tomorrow. Thanks amywhoa :) I did some planking today too. When i do plank jacks i do them stepping each foot out in turn rather than the jumping method. I find doing that slow and controlled is a good workout and where I dont feel…
  • Hey. I'd like to join to get some motivation. I lost 10lbs over the summer by cutting my calories to 1390 per day (most days), and now want to keep on track with the calories and start exercising too. I'm worried burning the extra calories will make me want to eat more, and that I may see my weight increase as I build…
