  • I know I didn't like how it felt.. And that was before I had worked up to any substantial weight.
  • I saw on Contreras ig he had a client do that work bosu ball with from pumps and wondered why... So it's to make sure chin is tucked?
  • Thanks I appreciate this. I do have a difficult time with single leg on Smith.
  • Do you mean like ez bars? If so, yes. I really will have to do this in an empty gym though.. or wear a hat so I don't see if ppl are looking.. Or something.. I did catch ppl staring when I did hip thrust with ez bar B4 I began using Smith. It sounds like you have a lot of fun working out!!
  • Me too! I am obsessed!! I want to try glute Bridges with bb too so this will be happening.
  • I've seen a couple in my gym use a ball for back support..I tried that at first but much prefer the stability of the bench.
  • I was watching a bunch of his videos on IG last night and saw him use mostly the BB with bench, but did notice him on the Smith toi. His gym is probably more set up for it though, but I'm gonna try it and see how it compares... Tomorrow... Unless the gym is packed.. but right now I am very 'comfortable' with Smith hip…
  • Well now I have to try!! I def won't start with a fully loaded bar though!
  • Yeah I'd like to try on bb to see if I can lift the same weight I've worked up to.
  • There are only two bb's in my gym.. Not sure if it's worth the time to load it up and struggle to get under it. Maybe when gym is really slow I'll give it a try.
  • After I cook a chicken I boil the bones in a big stock pot, and drippings from cooked chicken, along with onion with skin, garlic, a couple carrots, and a couple celery stalks. Bring to boil then Simmer for at least an hour. Strain out everything except the liquids. I put broth in pint and quart jars in fridge. Use for…

  • If you have access to a gym I've found spending 5 minutes on incline treadmill doing banded side squat walk, then like just five minutes using banded either kickbacks, Bridges, etc really wake up the booty. I think sc had specific activation based on what the program is for that day.
  • Do you do glute activation?
  • I did legs today too Feels great to have it done so early in the day. Usually I work out much later
  • I've been weight training for about nine months..I lost about fourteen lbs but upped my calories a few months ago(I was eating about 1800-2000) and have stayed constant between 148-150lbs since then (eating between 2300-2900)..depending on how I feel and my activity level that day.
  • in a quart jar, pretty easy to keep track of that way. I don't love drinking water either.. Sometimes I add a small amount of coffee or decaf ( if after 1pm for me) sometimes warm water with lemon added.. almost always with a straw
  • I love yogurt..my favorite lately is fage full fat or 2%. Add stevia and/ or honey, jam, canned fruit, fresh fruit, granola..love all of it but not all at once. I've added salt, pepper, and seasoning to make veggie dip. Oikos triple zero is good too. And Safeway's open nature plain is low cal and high protein. Now I'm…
  • I'm 5' 7.5" and 148 lbs and size six jeans and small/med tops...down from about 160-164 before I started lifting weights and tracking food about seven months ago. Still trying to figure out how much food i really 'should' be eating, I don't want to lose the muscles I'm working so hard to get. And I love food.
  • I have only eaten it at home..I know if I cook over 15 minutes it is not good (turns too soft) .. otherwise I add salt and pepper and cook in broth if I have it on hand. ImakeA big batch to eat on a few days..adding butter or cheese when I heat it up along with veggies and protein
  • Maybe try a little less acv.. That's what I do diluted with warm/hot water and lemon juice first thing in the morning in a quart jar and a straw.
  • A lot of snacks today. Vanilla Oikos triple 0 with 1t. Of apricot jam in it, 1/2c cottage cheese with 1/2c canned raspberries with stevia sprinkled on top, a homemade smoothie made from 1/2c pastuerized egg white, 1c frozen fruit (I premake and freeze in ice cube trays ahead of time so yummy) add 1/2c low-fat milk…
