i'd think you could possibly look good in a swimsuit at the weight you are. i think looking good in a swimsuit has more to do with muscle fitness than overall fat. i guess how the fat is distributed matters too, but still. you can be plump and still look sexy/pretty in a swimsuit. in any case your goal does sound like it…

vegetarian sausages made out of soy + grits is a nice breakfast can you eat yogurt? cereal or granola with almond milk oatmeal with peanut butter nut milk smoothie

i used to have a proform crosswalk with movable arms. it was great. i'd get a new treadmill as opposed to older one though cause when they get older they seem to get louder and not run as smoothly.

stretch! stretch everyday, stretch in the morning or before bed.. hold for at least thirty seconds. if you stretch everyday (with decent effort) you will see improvement. my favorite is just legs together straight out hands to feet sitting or legs apart sitting stretching toward each foot and the middle.. yoga is great too…

potatoes are a good buy too if you get sick of rice. nice filling baked potato, don't need anything on it but maybe a little salt. i used to live off 40 bucks a week for two adults and two children about 15 years ago. lots of homemade muffins, homemade yogurt smoothies (made with frozen strawberries in syrup) when finances…

@mahdi22 it's just diet soda. there was another thread where a bunch of people said they were drinking diet soda and still lost weight. as far as healthy i can't really say. it has aspartame in it though and i read about a study that says too high of a concentration of aspartame in your body can cause brain damage, so i…

how about small ballet movements? like just standing and lifting your leg back straight, to the side, to the front.. not cardio but great toning. or if you want something more vigorous, karate kicks and punches and stuff, horse stance, or yoga poses to hold maybe..

maybe a protein shake so you get energy but it's liquid so you don't get in the habit of eating?

@remmus102 could you stay up later to do the yoga and wake up later? i mean, it would be basically the same thing, no? (if it's only time that is stopping you.) or like, what are you doing at night that is eating up your yoga time? could you do that in the morning instead?

chocolatey met-rx bars fill my need for something cookie-like, chocolatey, and protein rich at the same time. i eat half at a time usually as they are pretty big.

@vonveganstein that looks delicious. (the chickpea cutlet and mashed cauliflower and broccoli) does yours have vital wheat gluten in it? (not gluten free just wondering where to find it besides online)

zoodles with fresh garlic, tomato, parmesan cheese. salt and pepper. i should make this more often.

i've had children too, and it may be a coincidence but i remember drinking a lot of pomegranate juice for a time and my skin firmed up considerably. pomegranate juice is touted to boost collagen production and that is what makes skin elastic. so if you have a few dollars it might be worth a try.

what about finding a substitute? like a piece of cinnamon sugar toast or a small bowl of cereal or a soft roll with a little butter and honey. if the problem is that you are going to places like dunkin donuts or something, i guess the trick would be to not go in in the first place. ONE munchkin has 60-90 calories depending…

how about jumping jacks or jumping rope? if you want more like running there's a move where you put your hands up out about waist level then lift your knees to them alternating legs.

not exactly binge-watching, but watching rick and morty and the ranch occasionally

i'd gather you have a severe sore throat. i would go to the doctors. i like the halls type cough drops (honey/lemon with eucalyptus) they do seem to help a little. i used to get sore throats a lot and no problem eating or drinking, just a sore throat.. if you can't talk then it's probably very severe. hot tea with honey…

stems and all. my mom usually chops them up smaller but this is what i ended up with oh yeah, sautee on high heat if it's a heavy pan (med-hi if it's a light pan)

nuts like almonds walnuts cashew peanuts (last two are fairly high fat though) easy to eat a lot of them to up your protein intake

when my kids were young and all anyone ever wanted was pasta and nothing else besides maybe some peas, i would just add a little salad to my dinner every night. if your challenge is to get them to eat a bigger variety of vegetables, then i've read it helps to get them to eat it if they help prepare it, besides that i would…

oh cool. for anyone who doesn't like spicy, i guess you could use fresh minced garlic in place of the hot peppers. this is my mom's recipe. Mustard Greens 1 large bunch mustard greens 5 or 6 hot peppers (i use thai volcano peppers) 1 tbs sugar 1/2-1 tsp white pepper 4 tsp salt 1-2 tbs cooking oil 1.first you'll want to…

@mnalsa83 do you like spicy foods?

hibiscus makes me sleepy personally. if i drink a cup of hibiscus tea i am out for a nap no matter how early it is! i'd suggest jasmine instead. it is supposed to be good for sharpening mental clarity and has a lovely taste and aroma.

i had some cheese ravioli with a little red sauce and plan on making some spicy mustard greens soon
