  • stop buying junk/high calorie/low nutrient food. i think this is the first step in defense against excess weight. if you don't buy it, you won't have it to eat. if someone gifts you with some, throw it away or refuse it before the package gets opened. stock your kitchen with healthy foods that you like.

  • the best vegan cheese i've had is pimiento cashew cheese. it's not like slices or shreds, more like for macaroni and cheese or like a dip or sauce. it's really good but you have to make it yourself in a blender. i've never had a vegan store type cheese that was any good.
