i tried this protein bagel recipe with chobani greek yogurt. i thought they weren't very good, but my boyfriend really liked them. they came out like an icky cross between a biscuit and a bagel with an unpleasant yogurt added taste that i didn't like, but again my bf really disagrees, he says they were just like a soft…

try thinly spiralized sauteed zoodles with chopped tomato and parmesan cheese. i find it as satisfying as pizza.

I eat eggs just about every morning either a 4 egg white omelette with a slice of american cheese (sometimes i add chopped tomato) or 3 scrambled eggs 1 or 2 whole eggs and 1 or 2 whites. if i have veggie bacon i will have a couple slices. i currently have diabetes so have to add a serving or two of carbs to keep my blood…

eat kelp and seaweeds or take kelp supplements and avoid raw broccoli and cauliflower. (so i just googled "cauliflower hypothroidism" and apparently there are other foods to avoid too such as peanuts and pine nuts and a few others.)

i'm sorry you are going through this. my advice would be to give him his space and let him handle the situation and try not to get too upset. i know you must be afraid of them getting back together, but after this long and what she did i doubt that will happen. just try to trust and be patient.

i think it's okay, and i wouldn't be offended. i would just take it as kind of a warning to back off because someone is getting a little testy. on the other hand, if your husband is 300 pounds, it might be a good idea to nag a bit anyway, just maybe try to do it more gently somehow as to not elicit a defensive response. i…

I only drank it for a couple/few nights. One tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, one tablespoon of honey in half a small glass of water, but i've noticed i no longer get heartburn like i used to since then. I used to get it really bad from my meds. (still on the same meds but no more heartburn.) i don't think i stuck with…

Almond milk curdles for me too. I have been using soy milk and it's great. The first few days were kind of meh with it (compared to the non-dairy creamer i was using) but now i prefer it.

i agree about the dash diet book, it is pretty good. i am on a mashup of the dash diet and the flat belly diet and i am starting to see results in a short time. My book is the DASH Diet for a Younger You. The best thing about it I've found is adding a small glass of red wine after dinner. It's lowering my blood pressure so…

I was so disappointed with the New Diet Coke line. Made a special trip to the store to get some thinking they didn't have aspartame in them. They still have aspartame in them, they just added the Ace-K. Whoopie! Wish they would get rid of the aspartame completely! Didn't end up buying any. So very disappointed.

i would suggest checking out the book Flat belly Diet! if your main concern is your waist. from the book, the best protein sources to add on would be nuts and seeds. natural nut butters (no trans or saturated fats), pumpkin seeds.. (all contain monounsaturated fats) to help shed the unhealthy visceral fats that make your…

yes you can eat it uncooked and you can freeze it though it changes the texture to a more spongy texture. (you will want to drain it first. i have a great veggie crumble recipe that rivals morningstar farms if you are interested. i use it in veggie tacos. you have to freeze it first to get the good crumble texture.

when you weigh less for some reason even if it's because of fat loss they say your calorie intake gets lower. did you adjust your calorie intake for your new weight?

pomegranate juice is supposed to help stimulate collagen production in your skin which is what makes it elastic. i don't know if it will help but it might be worth a try. as far as creams or products, i know shiseido and avon's anew line both carry lifting serums or firming creams. i haven't tried them though. they are…

Someone on here wrote about their success with the DASH diet so I got a copy of the book and am trying it. Doing good so far. Maybe you could look into it. There is definitely room for rice on it. There's some sample menus online if you look it up.

I've used a salt substitute called No-Salt that is made of potassium of some kind. It does seem to help lower my high blood pressure. https://www.livestrong.com/article/112551-potassium-salt-substitutes/

Do you have access to a microwave and a freezer?

Also, a really good cookbook to have is Better Homes and Gardens New Cook Book. Lots of easy recipes and everything I've made from there has come out good. Common ingredients, nothing fancy. Your basic kitchen bible.

maybe try some easy slow cooker meals? if you are a red meat eater, i used to make pot roast for my ex. with potatoes and carrots. they take a long time to cook though but are usually pretty simple. nice for making a lot at once.
