veggie soy sausage patty on an english muffin. for 300 calories you should be able to add a slice of cheese.

my favorite is just mushrooms or a veggie supreme with black olives.

In Texas in middle school they served us Frito Pie. Sooo good. And I used to love the little oil and vinegar salad cups from elementary school. eta- oops elementary school..

ughhh. it's diet day on chopped. lol. seriously the only thing that would be appetizing to me i think with this is like a bland school lunch tray. quinoa cooked in veggie or chicken broth in one section. steamed brocolli in another, and raw carrot sticks in another sprinkled with salt. and maybe a little Mrs. dash on the…

maybe try and relax about it a bit. it's normal to have low calorie then higher calorie days. as long as overall it's a good number for you. as far as maintaining goes, i'd still be pretty vigilant about tracking calories until you get an idea of how much you should be eating per day to maintain your weight. i find it…

I just read the book the Flat Belly Diet! and I think it has some good stuff in it. It's only been a couple days since I started applying the principles of the book and my stomach does seem to have shrunk a bit already. It's very simple. I would recommend reading the book. It basically says you need to eat a serving of…

http://www.geniuskitchen.com/recipe/vegan-vegetarian-sausage-patties-380398?ftab=reviews i found this recipe checking if Morningstar Farms veggie sausages were vegan or not. (they aren't, they have milk ingredients) but this recipe is vegan and sounds really good. imma have to try it. one savory breakfast i have sometimes…

i wonder if it is because there are toxins stored in fat and when the fat breaks down the toxins are released into your bloodstream which can cause headaches. i'd figure maybe do a liver flush which i think is basically drinking orange juice or lemon juice.

kombucha. i think a whole bottle is only 60 calories.

do you mean you want a recipe to try? idk. i make raw almond butter so I have to add a bit of oil and I add agave syrup. you could possibly use sugar or honey but i haven't tried that. if you toast the nuts you don't have to add oil. but i prefer my almond butter raw. let me know if you want measurements.

when my kids were little i got back in shape doing step aerobics with a step in the living room. just give them some toys and they can watch you work out. no machinery they might get caught up on and if you have to stop for a sec to attend to them it's no big deal.

i think this was in the south beach diet book but i'm not sure exactly where i read this, but, are you eating or have you eaten a lot of stuff with corn syrup in it? supposedly eating corn syrup, (and almost everything nowadays has corn syrup in it) can cause something called a candida albinicus growth in your guts, it's…

do you like rice and beans? it's a staple in a lot of places. i love jamaican rice and peas. (though you will need a pot and a hot plate)

can you eat beans, tofu, tempeh? vegan soy burgers, soy "chicken", eggs?

i don't know what your school looks like, but i remember when i was in college there was a lot of walking to get to the different classes i had to go to. maybe that will suffice for exercise. one school i went to had an indoor pool. i used to do laps during lunch.

i've found that exercise is more important in getting fit and losing weight than what you eat, for me at least. of course overeating calorie-wise will put on weight, but exercise does so much. maybe you could take the focus off of food so much and just try to incorporate more exercise into your life. eating less i think…

@rheddmobile Thank you! i am going to have to try this!

i used to do this too, calculate recipes. the trick is to write down your findings and keep them, and eventually you will get to a point where you can estimate how many calories is in your meal. i find that many of the "homemade" entries in the database to be on target compared to what i would get. so if you are feeling…

Plentils lentil and potato chips. they are so good especially the Margherita Pizza flavor if you can find them anywhere, but i've also had the sea salt and dill flavor i think it was. all were good. or Veggie Straws, yes! i have a thing for french fries and have taken to eating sauteed (actually braised) green beans. they…

Starbucks drinks are premium. but you get what you pay for and they are also expensive! best thing i can offer is get a fancy to go cup type thing and fill it at home, maybe limit your starbucks to special days or occasions like make it a social thing rather than a daily indulgence or something.

I like vanilla Muscle Milk. the chocolate isn't so good. For chocolate i like EAS and I find the EAS more filling.

cream cheese for bagels and peanut or almond butter for toast. or maybe a little bit of jelly or jam on toast for something sweet.

i love walmart's sea salt caramel ice cream sandwiches. they are priced low too which is a bonus. i think the calories are 160 or 170 per bar. not real low but so worth it. they make sugar free ones too but i don't think they are as good.
