Thx all. I see a lot of new faces lately so just wanted to send a reminder that the sky is the limit if you work for it.

I've been doing OMAD since October 2016. It's taken me from 352 pounds down to 170.4 this morning. I don't have to do OMAD anymore, but I still do. It's become part of my life, it keeps me feeling good and on the straight and narrow.
-
Great start Brad. You can do this.
-
I don't have anywhere near as much swing in my weight during the week. Must be those HC days. Typically mine stays within a 2lb range. Obviously you've got things under control though, as usual. Good work!
-
Yep, Tracey is a great example of determination and persistence. Nice job Tracey!
-
Good for you, keep up the good work.
-
Ramble on bandit. You've got something good going on, try to resist tinkering with what's working and let it run its course. Great work!
-
Great news! Way to go, stick to it now.

I think this coupled with OMAD might have been the cause of that spell you had. Based on my personal experience I'd recommend only doing moderate exercise while you're doing OMAD and in a "weight loss mode". Get the weight off, conquer hunger, and get in the groove of OMAD style eating before ramping up to the intense…

I also track waist size for this reason. Even if the scale doesn't move sometimes the waist goes down which is a big win.
-
It's not always about the scale. Sounds like you're making good progress. Keep it up and the scale should follow at some point.
-
That's great Bob. You're progressing so well. Congrats.
-
Welcome Graham. Start a thread and let us follow your progress. Great start by the way!

Is that your first scan? I ask because from what I read the bigger concern is if the number is growing. If it's steady or only growing slowly you're probably fine, especially with that BP. I'm with you, I wouldn't touch a statin under any circumstance.
-
Ok no excuses, let's get you back on track!

Thanks! Eating out when I'm on a business trip is always entertaining theses days and i take it as an opportunity to have a mini splurge. Last week it took three entrees to fill me up. The salesman who picked up the tab did a double take when he saw the bill. This week two full appetizers and the server is warning me how…

Hello Shashank, welcome. Isn't it funny how people react? Just ignore them and lead by example. To reignite your weight loss you might want to change up your diet. Do some experimentation and see what works for you. But worse case there is also nothing wrong with slow weight loss either. You'll get there! One other…

Yes it is!!

Monthly Weight (ave of last 7 days of the month) August....184.2 Sept........178.8 Oct.........176.7 Nov........176 Dec........173.2 Jan.........172.4 Still trending down ever so slightly though.
-
I used to have a weekly pattern like that. Hang on to the same weight for 4-5 days then a little breakout lower. It went on for some time as I recall. To me it says that you are in the zone, just keep doing what you're doing as this is a positive sign.

This is one sick thread. ok I'll show myself out now.
-
Oh hell no!
-
Good job Tracey, it looks like you've got this under control now.
-
Nice Brenda, going to a new level. I remember when I first started posting here last March I was jealous of you because you were something like only 11 pounds from your goal, while I still had like 70 to go. Now look at us!! Both maintaining well. It can be done.

I put up another video summarizing the things that worked for me to get the weight off, like OMAD. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UlHfduRMnGU
-
I also wanted to say that you do look great in your new photo.
-
Thanks everyone but it was really minor stuff, I stopped on it right away rather than trying to push through. Don't even feel any issues at the moment, I just needed some recovery time to let the muscles heal up. I'll be keeping high intensity stuff limited to once a week from now on.
-
I went to zerocarb after I had reached my desired weight. I do wonder how it would have gone had I done zerocarb the whole time. My feeling is that it would have been even better. It's certainly working for you now.
-
You're doing this for yourself, you don't have to justify it to anybody. Put any thoughts about what others are going to think or say right out of your mind. If you just sip on a beverage usually nobody notices or cares that you're not eating.
-
Oh this was minor, and no way would I try to push through it. I've learned to be patient and give my body a chance to rebound before moving forward.
