I've lost 40 lbs so far and still a ways to go, but already I've noticed a few unexpected things- I've lost weight in my cranium, not just my double chin- I was expecting that- I mean my dome itself, had to get my glasses adjusted, they kept slipping off my face, in fact, they still feel too wide for my nugget. I feel like…

Pepsi- any soda really, I used to guzzle the stuff, now I'm turned off by it. I think it's the carbonation, makes me choke and bloats me up.

Upstate NY here- I try to get as much sunshine as possible, even if it's just standing in the window like a plant! LOL When it's gloomy out, I try to use it to my advantage and tap into my dark side- listening to terrifying ghost stories. It may not cheer anyone else up, but they certainly brighten my day :) Also, since…

No one ever told me I'd look in the mirror and still see the same person, but when I go to try on my old "fat" clothes, I'd be SWIMMING in them. WHAT A MIND TRIP!! I'm often astonished at an old shirt that I couldn't even wear because it was too tight is now TOO BIG on me. Just. WHAT?! :D ♫♫"Is this the real life? Is this…

Don't think about what may or may not be 1 or 3 years down the road, take it one day at a time. If you get to a point that you've reached a goal and feel that you've outgrown the need for MFP, then that is the time to make that decision, but cross that bridge when you get to it. Now is not that time, so don't think too…

Mine is set to 1200, I fluctuate anywhere between 980 and 1500. I keep it low based on how few calories I will probably eat once I'm at my goal weight, so this is basically me eating what I'm gonna eat in the future. At first it was hard, but I'm adjusted and I feel comfortable eating this way now.

I have a waist trainer...and I don't really wear it anymore. It was fun for awhile but did NOTHING. Sometimes it is a sensory thing with me where I feel like I need to "push my guts back in"- weird, I know, but that's really the only time I use it anymore- which is rarely.

try it, you never know, but take baby steps, you don't wanna shock your system by dropping certain foods cold turkey. I personally don't eat that way, but everybody responds differently to nutrition, who knows, maybe organic vegetarian or pescatarian works for you, or maybe keto, all I can say is, you'll never know until…

As long as you're not eating anything drowning in butter or salt, it's fine. I like the smartpop 35 calorie white cheddar.

We're all about dinner in my house. Yesterday my hubby made chicken riggies (instead of rigatoni though, he used shells). Tonight he's gonna make honey mustard chicken w/ salad.

Re-organizing my makeup inventory- should I count the blushes that are part of a face/eyeshadow palette, or not?

I'm on a diuretic (prescription, not street drugs), should I even be drinking tea? I won't even look at a coffee. Although I do miss my caramel macchiatos, but too many calories anyways. Also, LOL diuretics as street drugs. yeah, sure, that's what the kids are all hopped up on nowadays.

Makeup. I'm a makeup junkie. Currently I'm on a "no buy" and a "project pan"- which means I can't buy any makeup products for quite a long while (which is fine, my collection is big enough to handle it), and I try to use up or "hit pan" on products and move them out of my collection. Like right now I'm working on using up…

How do you stay motivated, losing just a pound or two a week, when ultimately you need to lose 50-75? Focus on the journey, fall in love with it, don't stress about the outcome. Yeah it would be nice if I could snap my fingers and be 80lbs thinner, but at the same time, losing it slowly has taught me a thing or two...and…

I agree with you. I was a size 18 back in HS when I was my thinnest- abt 165 lbs- (I graduated in 2000) and now I'm at 210 I can wear the same size! Just...NO!! What if I lose enough weight to be an ACTUAL size 18 again, how TF am I gonna find what fits me?! I mean it would be cool to brag and be all like "oh I wear a 10!"…

My movie would be an action-adventure comedy filled with explosions, ninjas, lazers, aliens and just randomly...Jesus. Just for no reason, Jesus just walks onto the screen, quotes scripture, and walks off. Why? because He's Jesus and He can do whatever He wants. It would star Bill Goldberg as my hubby, Danny DeVito in a…
