I successfully did a few double - unders today. I have the marks all over my arms to prove it. It sort of looks like I had a "50 Shades of Grey" weekend but nope, just jump rope!

Hodor! Hodor! Hodor! You look amazing. Well done.

At CrossFit he has me on 20 or 25 lbs ones for the standard swing.

Surprisingly Fudgesicles are only 90 to 100 calories depending on the brand. Those work well for this ice-cream-a-holic.

I cannot workout in the evening. The shower afterwards plus the workout itself perks me up. It's too hard to wind down and get to sleep. I have worked out at various times of the day due to shift work and for me personally first thing in the morning before I come up with excuses has worked the best.

Celebrate for sure! You have come so far. Others may not understand unless they have been there themselves. But I get it. Once I started to buy regular sized clothes (not plus size) you would have thought I won the lottery. Be proud.

Don't be embarrassed about asking this stuff. That is what his place is for. I am happy to hear you are bettering yourself. You can do this. Best of luck.

To the OP: I for sure felt like that when I first started at the gym. But about 6 months later in that exact same room during a bootcamp class I was at the far side of the room facing the mirror. I saw a semi fit girl doing jumping jacks with a pony tail flopping up and down. I thought she looked great. After a moment I…

I packed up 5 mini Reese's Peanut butter cups in my lunch yesterday. (I had calorie room for them.) NSV 1: I bought these the week after Easter half price and just opened the bag yesterday. NSV 2: I gave 1 to a coworker instead of eating them all myself like I would normally do. I usually have no control when it comes to…

I am a boredom eater as well. The best thing I have found is to not get bored. Even go for a walk if you need to get away from the fridge.

Not me. I like the stretchy feeling. I don't take my jeans off the second I walk in the door.

Well done!! You look fantastic girl!

Okay I am giggling about that. Sorry you had a long day at the computer. Hope tomorrow is better.

That's the best reason to revive an old thread! You look great! Thanks!!

I am bad at anything involving a racquet! Really, I am an embarrassment with those types of sports.

Yep I agree just go. But show up a bit early so the instructor can get you set up properly. To be honest nobody in the class will even notice you once you get started. There are new faces all the time and they come along with all shapes, sizes, ages and abilities. And yep after song 4 that ends the "start smart option" and…

For me it goes without saying that when leaving town I must stop at Tim Horton's especially if it's an early morning drive. Some things are just not negotiable! Luckily I am a home body so it does not happen much.☺

To the OP: Oh definitely don't feel any guilt for treating yourself. You have worked hard and deserve nice things too. And for sure dress to fit your new body size as it changes. I was taken aside by a close friend who said my clothes were becoming unflattering the way they were sagging. I bought better fitting clothes and…

Well done! You look great.

Oh I fell into this trap myself! Lol It was so nice to get out of the plus sizes that I bought a lot of clothes in a short time. Some of the tops are now big but I can still wear them, but the pants are useless to me now. If you really can't help yourself then yes I agree to the thrift stores. Perhaps Try to remind…

I can so relate to this. I constantly look at other women trying to figure out if I am that size, bigger, or smaller. It does me no good to do this but of course I still do it.

Meh I don't care if I am. I am only competing against myself. The one day I lost track counting and when he asked for my data at the end I just said, "I dunno' but I got a great workout in, sweated lots and I had fun. So it is all good!"

Here is my motto: Keep your eyes on the prize! and also: You don't get the as$ you want by sitting on it!

I just joined less than 2 weeks ago. I could not be happier! I have learned so much about proper lifting form. I was surprised how the coach/trainer (I am not sure what you call him yet) so easily adapts the exercise to my beginner ability. Definitely give it a try with an open mind. Keep us posted!

I tend to use a chiro when I have a bad headaches or if I fall and hurt myself. I use a massage therapist when I am just kind of stiff, sore or achy. But really since I have started core and back strength training, I have not had much back discomfort. I was a bit skeptical (or to be honest - just plain lazy) about stronger…

Hi. I am unsure of how old the person who started this thread is but if she has a kid in college perhaps she is is nearing menopause. Insomnia can be a problem in and pre menopause. (Sorry if you are too young for this.) I do agree with turning off screens at night except for maybe an ereader. Reading a book at bedtime…

Atta girl! Good for you for stepping outside your comfort zone. You are an amazing Mom. You put her ahead of your own discomfort. Keep it up!

Yep and all things listed are totally worth it!!!

Thanks! Oh such a cute goal you have! And you will get there! Best of luck. Psssst. The shirt is covering a bit of a muffin top. The jeans in the 80s were sooooo high wasted.
