You changed your name! I love it! I am really feeling the back to school change. We have made a lot of changes in the home routine, so there are adjustments to that. I'm making excuses, I know. But I am just so exhausted in the afternoon/evening. I think I need to change my runs from pm to am or they won't get done

This Saturday I will be in class and today I will be setting up a training schedule with my oldest. My running group is back this week as well, so I am bursting back into activity

So the chaos of the season is nearly over. Here in South Africa our school year starts in January and ends in December. So the season of chaos is begins at year end exams, goes through Christmas, New Year, my son's birthday and then ends when school begins again. I am going for a walk with a friend tomorrow and on Saturday, after my parkrun I may be doing a one-on-one class with a friend of mine's son (we go to the same dojo, but he is in different classes because he is yellow belt and I am black belt and he is early teens). I still need to discuss it with his mom though

I have been terrible. All the Christmas planning and co-parenting arrangements have put all my training on the back burner 😭

I go to the dojo once per week and try to run at least twice per week. I really need to increase it. My son has taken an interest in weigh training, so I want to join him to give him some better direction and myself some extra weight training, but he is a teenager and moms are lame

We have closed early because of the rise in covid cases. So I am going to have to move up my solo training. My friend's son also started recently, so perhaps I can drag him off for some extra lessons 🤣

Our dojo is going on holiday on the 18th. I am going to have to start more home training with strength and flexibility

We have been focusing a lot on kata. Personally, it is my favourite aspect, so no complaints from me. But I will appreciate training without a mask one day
