12,491 steps today, plus started a new dumbbell routine that should help next month, and got in 20 minutes on the Nordic Trak. Dynamite day for me! Calories well under. Everything logged. I only had two pass days from the Thanksgiving binge, so should make it to be in the winners circle. The discipline provided by this…

Back to zero alcohol today, and feeling very motivated to get under 250 for Christmas. My birthday on the 14th will be a challenging test. Hope to do better than I did this weekend.

Back on the program, after two passes over Thanksgiving. Kept up my walking and activities, but just ate and drank too much. Today was good. 10,275 steps, plus Nordic Trak, and the usual taxi duties for wife and granddaughter. Well under on calories, good strong deficit today. Everything logged. I love walking every day,…

9,923 steps today, plus 3 hours cooking

What we really need is a program called "dysfunctional family." That would be a doozy, and everyone is already on it, at some level!!

Pass day #2 Did get the exercise in, and tracked enough to know I was over on calories. Thanksgiving celebration and good wine are the real challenge. Getting back on line.
-
Just finished getting under 260 lbs for Thanksgiving. 259 now!! Making 234 by New Years sounds difficult, but doable. Thanks for the challenge!!

The second bottle of nouveau Beaujolais was a bad sign, but delicuos. Then there is the bottle of brandy. Start over tomorrow.
-
Oh, yes got the exercise, 8618 steps, plus as lot of house activity. Great family Thanksgiving. Calories, definitely over, butt not as ctgua llyu logged. First pass day, maybe better tomorrow.
-
8,618 steps, one of the best things about the day, so far

So why bother with fillings? Just chow d own on pie crust. It is really simple to make.
-
In the process of making crustless sweet potato pie right now. Making a double batch for tomorrow. Calories and nutrition are great without the crust, and the nice fresh spices make it very tasty. We don't put in much sugar, but there will be whipped cream tomorrow. Real whipped cream, a little goes a long way!

I really like sardines, have since childhood. My Dad loved them and they were available in our home all the time. Good nutrition for a small portion, and mineral/vitamin laden. Think I will have some next week!
-
Another good, busy day, no alcohol. One more day before Thanksgiving. Got a couple bottles of nouveau Beaujolais and a bottle of nice French brandy for the feast day!
-
Exercise-15,278 steps, 6 miles, and over 2 hrs active. Calories, nicely under. Everything logged.

Busy Monday with 4 appointments and lots of driving, but still managed 7469 steps and over one hour of activity. Onward to Thanksgiving feast!
-
Another good day! 10,312 steps, 3 hrs of activity Calories were good, but I did chew up 23 calories of exercise cushion, still over 300 below the limit. Everything logged.

Much better this weekend, no alcohol, at all. I think this is the first weekend without any wine, whisky, or brandy in several years. And it feels great! Sleeping well and staying active. Thanks for the challenge and the encouragement.
-
Only 10,312 steps today, when I intended to do more, but they were a good strong 10,312 and I feel good tonight. Come on Monday, I am ready to rock and roll this week. LOL
