I'm retired... So whatever is on sale.

OK, I'm older than dirt and live on social security. Tbh, u don't have to change your diet that much. I buy whatever is on sale and figure out how to make meals out of it. Some weeks it's chicken, some weeks pork and on rare occasions beef. But the key is to consume less per day than you have in the past. Don't get all…

I found peanut butter, beans, spinach all brought mine up quickly. Just remember your body needs vitamin c to absorb iron so make sure you are getting that as well

I downloaded a free app called relax melodies. It has worked great for me and a friend of mine who I recommended it to. Worth a try for the price lol

You have to go into shealth settings... Data permissions and activate the items u want sent to mfp or read from mfp

On mine, which came installed, go to the 3dots top of screen and open manage items. Idk if it's because it was preloaded but the steps counter is always on with no option to turn it off. But I use it so no reason to turn it off. Good luck

I'm a "misfit" 66 years old and embarking on the fitness journey. Age is a number that only matters to those who choose to make age important. BTW, my initial goal was to lose 20# met that and set a new goal of losing 10 more. Good luck on your journey

I use epic 2bt. They hook over the ear. I've been using them for 6 months daily and no problems with falling out. I did replace the silicone covers to get a better fit. https://www.jlabaudio.com/products/epic2-bluetooth-wireless-sport-earbuds?variant=23929662087

Pinterest and Google. I previously had many cookbooks, but it is so much easier to do a search and find the recipe I want. I also find supercook.com handy when I want something different.. Just enter your on hand ingredient list and magically it will give you recipe options.

Congratulations on the progress you made this year. I'm 66 years old and have found having friends to support and encourage has kept me more motivated than when I simply tracked previously. Feel free to add if you wish

I'm 66, I primarily walk and bicycle. I try to average 8 miles a day walking if the weather permits. Bike is pretty much put up for the winter. I've lost 15 in 58 days. I contacted an old work friend who is a weight lifter and after the holidays he said he will meet me at the gym to start me on weight training. Feel free…

I put mine in the pot with cold water, turn electric stove on high for 13 minutes. They always come out great (no green yolk) and peel relatively easy

I actually just made turkey sausage and egg on bagel thins for dinner. Put cheese on my roommates but not mine.

You have taken the first step in the process of getting fit by joining mfp. If you are having difficulty getting motivated to go to the gym, start out by walking some each day. Personally, I find getting outdoors either walking or riding my bicycle is more enjoyable than the gym. After you start to see results it's like a…

You have taken the first important step in the process of getting fit by joining mfp. Virtually everyone here has been in your shoes. Sadly for some of us, many times. I would encourage you to not compare yourself to anyone else in your family or the world. Each of us is given a unique body and sometimes no matter what we…

When I was in school a hundred years ago, it was emphasized by teachers that the "t" was silent. Apparently in the last 50 years the educational system has changed that. Different dictionaries show different pronunciation so apparently all are correct. Of course when I went to school " ain't" was not an acceptable word,…

I've only been on this journey for a short time.... This time. I'm 66 years old and I'm determined to be in better health this time next year than I am today. May I suggest, work towards fitness.. Weight in my experience follows fitness. Do what you can to get exercise. I understand the financial aspect. I live on a fixed…

I've only been at this a few weeks this time. I tried it several years ago but didn't reach out for support. This time I did and have an online friend who daily encourages me to keep going. I also join challenges because I'm pretty competitive. Feel free to add me. BTW, I'm 66 years old so if I can walk 8-10 miles a day…

My story is very similar to yours, except I lost the drive when I retired. Now, 25 pounds heavier I'm starting over and will probably discover the weight comes off slower than when I was working. But I am determined to get it off.
