I don’t find the evenings too hard but I do struggle at lunchtimes when I’m on my own at home. With no one to see what I’m scoffing!

My Fitbit shouts at me to do extra steps too. It does keep me focused!

Thanks again for your ideas and comments. I do eat quite a lot of nuts and eggs! I'm not calorie counting and I'm only being strict for the first couple of weeks. I'm feeling really good with how its going. It's only my first week. Good luck to you all.

Hi. Veggie for 26 years. I love tofu and Quorn. And veggies. And I get lots of eggs from my turkeys, chickens and ducks. Inert a lot of omelettes! Good luck.

I'm not vegan but am vegetarian. I'd like to be vegan but I have come across similar attitudes that you have. My mother gave me a free range chicken and said I had to eat it because it had 'had a nice life!' She really wasn't happy with me when I refused. Count me as a friend anyway!

Hi. It's my first weigh in today SW 155lbs GW 136lbs I've gradually put on weight and now that it's bothering me I'm going to do something about it for good! I'm eating low-carb at the moment and shall see how it goes!

Hi kabubify Good to hear from you. I’m not really doing percentages but for my first couple of weeks I’m aiming for at least 60g protein and about 20g carbs a day. I eat more fat to keep the calories up. I’m eating Greek yoghurt, eggs etc until it’s coming out of my ears!
