I started chugging 16-20 oz of water then chewing gum after. It's not the same as skittles and pringles, but I did help a lot. Keep up that "Today is the day" attitude and it will happen.

What I started doing is incorporating wayyyy more veggies into my diet (actually vegetarian but I realize it's not for everyone). You can eat enormous portions and take in very few calories. Not to mention the heinous amounts of nutrients you get. It's ok if eating is boring, let other things excite you :)
