Time of the month and had a mental health day last week (COVID confinement, lack of new human interaction, and little to do at my internship started to actually drive me crazy so I let myself have a day... it is a…

This past week was a rollercoaster of emotions. In addition to the good news…
  • @VeggieMeg71 , I say celebrations like a birthday definitely warrant some extra, too. Happy belated birthday day! You are still amazing and seeing how far you have come since January inspires me! I also had something to celebrate this week (chosen to be the sole student liaison to an ABA committee) and definitely…
  • They are giving me a new fridge for my apartment today! It stopped working for the second time this month sometime this weekend. I'm so excited! Also, having to remove my "pantry" so they can access the fridge gives me a great opportunity to go through it, reorganize it, and cull the junk.
  • I dislike corn, mangoes, chocolate, and coffee (technically I have a food sensitivity to coffee. That mixed with the "add espresso to chocolate things!" led to disliking chocolate).
  • Just want to say to those who have posted photos: y'all are inspiring. Thank you! I have a photo from my first weight loss sprint I use as inspiration (before I had some issues and gained everything back plus some).
  • Start: 262.6 Goal: 170 May 2020 loss: 3.8 05/21/20: 262.6 05/25/20: 260.8 06/01/20: 258.8 06/08/20: 253 Don't know if my scale is malfunctioning or what. It suddenly dropped me to 254.8 on Thursday and stayed there through Sunday. Today it dropped another 1.8 pounds. I picked up my cat and got back on to make sure it would…
  • @AlexandraFindsHerself1971 : Glad you found the house and your offer was accepted! It sounds like everything is working out timing wise too. And part of the reason I've gotten back into Diablo III and Skyrim: because they keep my hands busy. Mainly Diablo III. Skyrim I can somewhat do with one hand if I am letting my…
  • Start: 262.6 Goal: 170 May 2020 loss: 3.8 05/21/20: 262.6 05/25/20: 260.8 06/01/20: 258.8 Since I just decided to get serious, I got a food scale and a piece of home gym equipment (since our gyms are closed and I need something that trains me to walk lol). Also, the food scale is blue, so it matches my kitchen things and…
  • 05/21/20: 262.6 05/25/20: 260.8 Was just finishing my time of the month when I first weighed in, so I expected the quick dip due to bloating going away. Kills my motivation every time it starts, but good to know my body hasn't changed this habit.
  • ladycopnh1 , I just finished my first year of law school. Also just started my summer internship and one of my two summer classes. Figured all that computer time with intense typing may keep my hands busy and out of the chip bag, since everything is remote and the kitchen is so close in a small studio. lol. So my left…
  • I just have a mind where exercise seems to turn off my sweet and fried "teeth." I also put my kindle on the shelf of the elliptical and go to town normally, so the time flies. 8 miles down? One more chapter please! I never adjusted my calories when I worked out before, because I did not want to feel entitled to more. I…
  • Hey all! I am going to join in on this group. My recent history: Prior to starting law school in August, I got down to 212. Then I took a hiatus from working out because it hurt horribly and I found out I needed an ankle reconstruction (which I got in December right after finals). Suddenly "bad eating" me came back without…
