mynacha73 Mondays PW 208.7 CW 207.6 I'm losing again! I think I've figured out how to schedule my days that I'm not living in the fridge and exercise is part of the day to day pattern. So so much better than the first 3 weeks of quarantine. Today begins my fifth week of this, and I think I'm using it to my advantage now.…

mynacha73 Mondays PW 207.6 CW 208.9 I think this whole not working and sending out resumes and not having even one organization respond is not working for me. And compound that with parents falling and ending up in the hospital and living in a new place and how hard it is to meet people. I'm trying. I'm doing meetups, and…

@simbersea - so glad to hear that Mom has moved into rehab. Take care of yourself and know that we're all here and thinking of and supporting you. And her. Lots of love!!!

mynacha73 Mondays PW 203.4 CW 206.3 Birthday week and super down. Then I mixed that together with learning how to bake and a number of dinners out. I'm hoping at least some of that is salt. I've exercised 3 days in a row, and I'm working on my outlook.

Ugh - been sick most of the week then got better in time for a family event. My food was pretty good until the last two days when it was an even split between carbs and salt. mynacha73 Mondays PW 200.3 CW 203.2

Thank you, everyone, for the positive feedback! I’ve had a rough week with a stomach flare. Lucky me, I have stomach problems that hurt, but don’t interrupt my appetite, just my willingness to move due to nausea and vertigo and assorted other yucks. But I have been up and about the last few days and that’s feeling good. I…

About 5 years ago I had a perfect storm of losses and hurts that I handled by eating. And eating and eating and eating until I gained 90 lbs in one year. Since then I've yo-yo-ed around over 200 lbs. With some major life changes - taking some time off work for my mental health, moving cross country to be near family, a lot…

Ugh. Woke up feeling off yesterday and downright rotten today. Just lifting the cat off my lap to get more tea was exhausting. The only advantage is having nearly no appetite, but I can’t exercise or get things off my to do list. Ugh.

Hi Everyone, and happy new year! My big goal for the year is to make decisions from a place of excitement and joy as opposed to a place of anxiety, fear, and "what if." At the same time I take a load off my physical self, I'm trying to take a load off my spiritual, emotional, mental being, too. The past couple years have…

For 2020 I'm going to work on a few things. First is my relationship with food. When I find myself eating mindlessly, I'm going to do two things: 1) not scold myself and 2) try to figure out what I'm trying to not "mind" (pay attention to). I think my big goal is self-awareness. Second is to go 2020 miles under my own…

Thank you for the warm welcome! I'm looking forward to being part of this group, getting to know new friends, and living more healthfully! I'm working through some injuries and pain, but I don't let it stop me - I try to limit the worst of the complaining to the cat. She's surprisingly tolerant if I feed her while…

Hi Everyone, @loonyhiker - you might not gain on the cruise. I actually lost a 1/2 pound after my 17 day North Atlantic cruise because (with the exception of gala night when I was in heels) I refused to take the elevator, I walked the ship a lot, and I hiked on all my shore days. Have a wonderful time on the trip!!…

Sounds like a bunch of us have some aches and pains. My foot acted up again and I haven't been able to walk without pain in over a week. Sometimes I feel like when I take a step forward with my health, I take a step backward. Then I get discouraged and dinner turns into a mess of sugar and fat. I've been thinking a lot…

@msarobix I get motion sick even when I'm driving on only moderately curvy roads, but I generally am just fine on cruises. I make sure to stay hydrated, and I use meclizine if I start feeling off. The key for me is to get a cabin that is mid-ship and on one of the lower decks. Ginger is a major go to for me as well. Food…

Hi Everyone - I haven't posted (or been on MFP) in about 5 weeks. I got caught up in some health things for me, work stuff, heading to Florida to help mom with her broken hip, then the school trip. Lots of "monkey wrenches" were thrown into the mix that I let distract me from checking in. I'd give myself a C on food…
