  • Yes you can and this is the main reason why I have been able to adhere to my "diet" for going on a year and a half now.61 pounds down and counting. Just make sure you are weighing everything you can and logging accurately. As long as you're in a calorie deficit you will lose weight.
  • 499 Day streak....it would be longer than this by a few months though if I didn't miss a few days here and there.
  • Did you mention what issue you are having? Like others have mentioned, they would not make you wait 2 weeks to be seen.
  • Yes it is definitely possible with some dedication! I was thin for the majority of my life and was able to maintain it intuitively. This all changed when I had to go on antipsychotic medication that shot my appetite up aggressively. I went from low 120's to 200 lbs. I initially blamed it all on the medication (not knowing…
  • I really enjoy the Marzetti Apple Cider Vinaigrette for 60 cals per 2 tbsp.
  • I was just on maintenance for 2 weeks and my weight went up 5 lbs. Hoping its all water weight and I return to my original weight of 139 by the end of the week. Currently at 141.4 lbs...I'll be pretty sad if I failed at maintaining and actually gained...
  • My husband is also trying to lose some weight but he can do so on calories that are above my current maintenance calories! It sucks so much even if I do realize he is in fact a male and is 6'2" hahaha. I'm a short female with a huge appetite though :D
  • Yeah and it especially becomes true when you enter the normal BMI range and start losing at 0.5 lbs a week! I'm trying to remain as patient as I can be.
  • I don't know why so many youtubers believe that ACV will aid their weightloss efforts, it's mind boggling.
  • I'm surprised OP does not seem to be that worried?
  • I usually have very light periods with minimal cramping ever since I got an IUD. If it were more uncomfortable than usual I'd take a Midol and still continue doing my work outs.
  • I usually either have a frozen lunch option or make a grilled chicken salad.
  • If I could not fit in my treats I would have failed a long time ago.
  • Ultimate Starting Weight:200 lbs Challenge Starting Weight on Easter (April 21): 140 lbs April 26: 139.2 lbs May 3: 141.6 lbs May 10: May 17: May 24: May 31: June 7: June 14: June 21: June 28: July 4: I took the past 4 days to eat at maintenance since I needed some sort of break from over 1 year of dieting. Expected the…
  • My main issue was at first I was not weighing my food. My second would be eating out too often so that I could not properly account for my calories in. I have since improved on that and limit it to once or twice a week. Would be nice if it was 0-1 times a week instead but I love eating out too much!
  • Like others have mentioned, waist size is genetic and there is not much you can do about it. I had to come to terms with this myself! So I decided to lift in order to create the illusion of a smaller waist by building up my legs/hamstrings as well as shoulders.
  • I know I should not compare myself to others but it can be hard not to. Thanks for your concern but I am going to keep doing what I am doing as it has been fine for me. My motivation when I reach my goal will be maintaining the body I have achieved.I plan on continuing to weigh and log my food so I am not worried about…
  • I also measure at the narrowest part of my waist.
  • Maybe I should have phrased it in a different manner. I would still continue on with my weight loss even if it were slower but it would just make the process that much more labored. I know logically what you are saying but emotionally I would be beat down by minuscule losses. I know I will be fine with maintenance since I…
  • Yes I am the same way currently. It only bugs me because I stick to a 500 calorie daily deficit and make sure to weigh my food and overestimate when I eat out ( which I have reduced to 1-2 times max a week). I honestly thought I would be done in a years time but its looking to be closer to the 2 year mark. Trying to keep…
  • Honestly it's been 17 months and I am down 62 lbs, I do not think I am doing it in an unhealthy way especially considering I see a lot of people lose much faster than me. I am also not eating below 1200 calories. If I were to lose at an even slower pace of 0.5 lbs a week I would become way too demotivated. It's bad enough…
  • Ultimate Starting Weight:200 lbs Challenge Starting Weight on Easter (April 21): 140 lbs April 26: 139.2 lbs May 3: May 10: May 17: May 24: May 31: June 7: June 14: June 21: June 28: July 4: Maybe this round will go better for me? Only lost 6 lbs the last time around, lol.
  • On average I fluctuate within 0.2-1 lb from day to day.
  • I am more so looking for consistency. The scale I had was fine for the last several years of owning it with showing one number per weigh in without any change. That is what I am looking for, not the number being 100% accurate as I am aware that that is not possible.
  • Haha that's nice! With my luck my new scale will weigh me higher than my current one :D
  • Yeah I was confused too but maybe she means stone? I don't know how else to interpret such low numbers lol.
  • Oh mine does not have a memory function. I would step on and off again 3 times in a row and have 3 different readings. I am also using it on a flat hardwood floor. Honestly I am just so fed up with it so I ordered a new scale. $20 to hopefully no longer have this issue is worth it to me haha!
  • Yeah I have been getting inconsistent readings these past two weeks of 0.4-1lb during the same time I am weighing just going off and on again after re-calibrating. I have a feeling it might be time to replace the scale since the battery really should not be dying this quickly?
  • Seems like you don't want to believe the fancy scale you purchased was a waste of money.
  • I have always been an avid soda drinker...having switched to diet in the past 2 years. I wish I liked water but I don't so I tend to almost always have a can of diet soda with my meals.
