Dump him. Get fit, get strong, move on. Show him how much better you can do.

I find 1,200 preferable because I’m impatient and know that I can rely on myself not to binge or regain the weight, but it’s by no means a fun journey. If you’re not in a hurry I’d definitely recommend a slower loss.

Personally I just refused to give in to the eating when bored habit for long enough that it went away.

Savage.

I would be wary of relying on losing weight to fix your mental state, but it can definitely have a positive effect. I feel great since my weightloss and I’m so confident now.
-
I go fast because I’m impatient and I want it over with.

Unless your partner has a problem with it then I don’t really think you should be doing anything to ‘combat’ it. I get you’d probably want to encourage them to eat healthier foods, so maybe you could prepare healthy foods to eat together sometimes. Or if you’re finding that having junk food in the house inhibits your…

Idk but I’m gonna go ahead and say squats.

M Just because you can see a statistical trend between two sets of data doesn’t mean there’s a cause and effect relationship between them. Your logic would also suggest that ice cream causes drowning, because incidents of drowning rise at the same time as an increase in ice cream sales.

You know that very small amount of extra weight could be water retention though right?

My drawer is full of snacks...

Did you take your jacket off? Or do a really big poo? Really.. 2lbs is negligible when you consider all the factors that can influence your weight throughout the day. I wouldn’t bother thinking about it too hard.

We can’t all afford preinstalled safety seats on our wagon dogs you know.

Has this happened before? I’ve recognised that I go through regular cycles of enjoying food like a normal person and then absolutely not wanting to eat anything, but that’s normal for me. I would suggest waiting this out a little longer before worrying too much. Just make sure you’re still eating despite it.

I don’t see how BMI matters if you’re happy and healthy, but I don’t agree with the kind of logic that your body won’t be happy at X weight or X weight isn’t realistically achievable for you. I’m reaching towards my goal of 112 and all I do for exercise is 40mins of daily walking to work and 10/15mins of weights. If you…

Why you guys falling off a dog tho?

Is there a specific reason your carbs are so low? Personally I find carbs the most satisfying and if you do too then maybe you should switch that up. It’s also worth noting that for weightloss it doesn’t matter if you eat healthy or not - as long as you eat less calories than you burn. I would recommend cutting yourself…

Please tell me you’re not reasoning that people are poor because they lack the self discipline to save money.

Yes thiiis. I really struggle to find easy ready meals that are mid range calorie wise. It’s either 309 calorie weight watchers style meals or excessive 700-900 ones.
-
It’s not even that I thought you were going for an aggressive loss, because I cut to 1,200 myself when I wanna lose - I just got super concerned at the idea of gaining wait on over 1,200 calories :(
-
I’d second this approach. I no longer have any sugar in coffee and if I try my friends drinks they now taste unbearably sweet even with just one teaspoon. I can’t believe I used to have four.. D:

I know this, and I’ll apologise once more for my intrusiveness. People on MFP are usually very open about their stats and goals so I rushed into questioning you without really considering that it may have been rude.
-
I didn’t say you were wrong.. I was asking so that I could understand as I’ve not heard of a TDEE so low before. I’m sorry you found my questions intrusive.
-
For real? Tell me to go away if I’m being super nosy but can I ask how tall you are?
-
Surely your TDEE is not 1,250? That sounds way more like your BMR
-
I don’t eat dessert I just eat cake for dinner instead.
-
You’re never gonna be in a good place mentally whilst you’re weighing yourself four times a day. That’s just not a healthy thing to do and sounds like it’s bordering on obsession. If I were you I’d look towards fixing that issue first.

I don’t know long term but short term peppermint tea can make you feel a little better.

I struggle to believe you’ve been eating that few calories for 3 weeks (and managing 30mins cycling) without serious loss.
