I bought washable ones! After 30ish min of walking in high humidity I feel like I'm getting suffocated by wet cloth getting sucked into my mouth/nose

my family don't know how to use tech/webcams so we stick to phonecalls, no cams (this is people in their 60s to late 80s) my normal places to buy shoes from don't do online, and I have very unusual feet so it's a challenge even when shopping in person :( I tend to be JUST able to fit into the smallest adult womens size,…

I'm gonna be 100%... I feel like maybe some of this is mental... I've been thinking today and 2 things stand out to me: 1) I haven't seen sunlight in over a month, I go to work and come home in darkness, I work in a basement with no windows 2) I am stuck in a town with 0 friends and no way to get to my family (haven't seen…

just to clarify - yes, I am eating enough so I'm not losing more weight - if I was massively undereating I'd notice that after a few weeks.. now some days I eat more and some days I eat less (depends on how hungry) but looking at the past week for example I'm averaging about 2000-2100kcal, my sedentary maintenance would be…

<3 Thank you! I've always struggled pushing through long/hard enough to build any upper body strength so I'm actually so happy to have some muscle now

I guess I'm overthinking it because I'm sure my average more or less evens out, but past 10 days I've had days where I ended up eating anywhere between 1300 and 2600kcal (I was legit hungry). I'm estimating my maintenance to be in the 1900-2000 range with my current activity level. I was eating 1700ish to (slowly) lose the…

A lot of my loose skin is on my inner thighs and the lower part of my stomach, but yeah, I think I got fairly lucky with my arms :)

grandma's breaded and fried chicken liver, also home made meat sauce and pasta, and roast potatoes

weigh/measure/check everything to make sure you're not off with your calorie count, and if spot on and you're still hungry, maybe volume eating would help a bit? I love big salads, stews, etc - lots of food but very few calories.. throw in some lentils, beans, lean meat and you get plenty of fibre *and* protein

I eat whatever I feel like. Now, I seem to naturally prefer stuff that doesn't involve much bread, rice, etc... BUT I don't do low carb, I still eat some pasta and I eat plenty of vegetables, fruit, oats etc, and I love an occasional frozen pizza

I'm walking 4.8km to work and 4.8km back with probably another 1-2km to grab lunch etc, I walk to work with a light backpack... which is typically less light on the way back as I tend to buy food which I then have to carry a few km back (closest shop is about 2km away from my apartment) I'm feeling a bit better after…

this is what I have atm, I also had a kettlebell and some lighter dumbbells but I left those at my parents house because I moved into a studio apartment and space is tight + I wasn't using those as often

I think I'm finally seeing some muscle in my upper body

some types of cake and cookies for me... I grabbed 2 (what I considered fairly small) cookies with my morning coffee a few days ago, then checked the calories to log them... 200+kcal for 2 bites? when I'm eating about 1500 a day? No thank you, not worth it, they're not *that* good

1) Kinda? I would typically average about 4km a day of walking, and right now I'm doing about 10km a day.. I'd occasionally walk 10+ if it was a sunny Saturday but that was once every maybe 2 weeks, not daily 2) Haven't used a bike in almost 20 years so bit nervous about that 3) yeah, been trying to keep most of my…

I'm really hoping shops open again sometime soon so I can buy some - but right now they've extended the restrictions for 2 more weeks. I haven't been able to go clothes/shoes shopping since the middle of october. I'm actually looking at other apartments/rooms closer to work but not much luck without my expenses going up…

I've been wearing my tennis shoes, but I might need to switch to my boots (tho they're not the best for long distances).. it's been dropping to -6°C past few days and if it rains or snows my tennis shoes are not waterproof (can't buy new shoes since all shops are closed due to corona - minus grocery stores and pharmacies,…

I'm not allowed my own router/subscription in the room I rent, I depend on the building owner's internet.. I could probably set up a hotspot through my phone for 1-2 days but than I'd be out of my monthly data
-
oh, I forgot to add, I don't own a bike/haven't owned one in about 20 years, but I *have* been looking at maybe buying a scooter? can't afford an electric one and snow season is basically here tho

work's actually been incredibly accomodating, considering I've only been here since september... I worked from home for a few days until internet started to drop for 30+ minutes at a time (I do journalism for a living, for TV... it really can't wait sometimes) since I'm new and moved across the country for this job (in the…

I'm still struggling picking a goal weight.. at first it was 130lbs, then I got to 125, now last weigh in I was 118lbs... and I'm still not sure what to stick to (I'm a hair under 5'3), I feel like I'm in decent shape but still have too much body fat for my liking

me at 18 vs me at 30 (wasn't without ups and downs tbh)

Eat food you actually enjoy, try and stay active, if you're in the, say, "last 15-10lbs" part of weight loss where progress is slow there's nothing wrong with having diet breaks or just not aiming for a deficit every single day, it's not a race. Personally I'm kinda aiming for -0.5lb per week atm but I'm honestly not…
