I give myself permission to stop after I do the warmup - but once I'm warmed up I almost never actually feel like stopping. Exception being if I'm in actual pain or not feeling well

when I started working out last april vs now - roughly same weight

I have socks that have rubber on the soles, I use those when I'm at my apartment... if I'm visiting my parents I have a pair of shoes I only use inside the house

thing is I can see muscle in my back, shoulders and arms (I carry most fat in my hips/thighs) and I'm seeing veins down my arms but my strenght is absolute poop

I do a lot of bodyweight stuff, and then I do a variety of upper/lower body with weights (yes for pushups, rows, etc, anything really that can be done at home with dumbbells)... I started with probably 3 and 5kg, but what I'm using right now sounds low? I basically go until it's too heavy for me to do another rep (not…

Yeah with my lower body for sure.. with my upper body I still have weight I can add, but it's just now taken me 3 months to add 1kg to my heavier set that I think was fairly light to begin with.. and I'm still struggling with it

I'm a hair under 5'3, last weigh in was in the low 120s, and I*believe* I'm relatively small framed based on my wrists and elbows (tho my hips are wide) I'm roughly 31-24ish-36 atm, with 20.5 inch thighs and 10 inch upper arms (measured in the middle, I always put the tape right over a specific freckle, hah)

I take B vitamins because my doctor advised me to (also been having issues with my ulnar nerve for ages, my only real option is surgery tbh, due to "moderate damage", but I'm putting it off unless really necessary) and I took iron for a while due to heavy and very long periods... atm I take a multivitamin every few days,…

I'm leaning towards preference in general, but for me personally I don't have the energy in the morning if I don't eat.. tbf my last meal of the day is often around 5-6pm so by the time I get up it's been 11-12 hours since I ate, and I've always been an afternoon-ish person to begin with

my issue with walking was my hypermobility combined with really bad shoes (shoe shops closed in october and didn't partially open again until literally this week, I was stuck with either my non-waterproof trainers or really ancient boots), I never really went to the gym but I did invest in some adjustable weights and…

right now, typically about 6 days a week. I've cut down on my walking quite a bit recently (because of covid public transport was shut down for a while, I ended up with knee pain due to walking 10+km every day to get to work), but I still do weights probably about 4x a week and some kinda higher intensity cardio typically…

skipped last night's workout due to a bad migraine (and also took today off work, was in bed feeling nauseous until noon), felt better this afternoon tho

as someone who already has thinning hair due to PCOS that is terrifying! Just spent years trying to grow it out with better care and a healthier diet after I had to chop literally all of it off due to thinning (it was literally maybe an inch long for a while) haven't had covid myself, but a coworker did, she's still…

I personally like fitnessblender and sydney cummings for some of their dumbbell workouts, I think fitnessblender puts up a whole description of the workout in writing on their website too

oh I know it's most likely not perfect/optimal, it's just what tends to feel good xD

honestly, thanks <3 I still don't think like I "look like I work out" tbh, but I know my brain is my worst critic So, with recomp... would I just need to keep going or do anything special? I currently tend to do lower body 2x a week (weights), upper body 2x a week (weights) and cardio the rest of the time, with an…
