9/10, no. I use a special online calculator to calculate my calories burned b/c I noticed MFP and other trackers overestimate by as much as 300 calories. But I always eat under my target goal if I exercise, then designate a "cheat" day where I eat at my maintenance, since I know I lost the lbs necess. to pull it off.…

Use one of those calorie and macro calculating sites, like IIFYM. Best site I've seen is https://damnripped.com/tdee-calculator/. Just punch in your stats, and it'll give you your daily calorie goal depending on your weight loss goal, and the macros to go along with it, varying (keto, high protein,high carb).

I wasn't talking about fasting (though the article also mentions that), but rather exercising right before you eat at your normal meal times. It's true that fasting and those other techniques aren't necessary, but they do help speed up weight loss for some people.
