Hi all! I'm happy to have any & all keto/low-carb friends. Toss me an invite. I've got an open diary - and sometimes I post pictures.

Me: Mid-40's, gluten-free, mostly low-carb, often intermittent fasting. Also, inherently lazy - I try to psych myself up, but workouts tend to be super sporadic. I'm 5'11" and have about 50 lbs to lose (again). You: Want more friends. Same eating style a plus, but not necessary. Not judgey about dietary slip-ups & not…

I do IF - I was having a hard time getting in my calories above 1100 or so most "average" days on a 16:8 (2 meals a day, no snacks) so I switched to a 5:2 schedule. (Which I've been told works better for women anyway - but ) MFP set my loss calories around 1800, but I usually eat ~1400-1600/day on my eat days & ~600…

My goal is around 50 also - I intermittent fast & keep gluten-free (wheat allergy). Anyone can feel free to friend me as well! My food diary is open to friends.

I have a Withings Body+ It's got it's own app and easily links to MFP. It even tells me today's weather. :)

Can always use more friends! I'm fairly active online & I've got a friends-open food diary. I intermittent fast (currently on a 5:2 schedule) and live gluten-free. (Sometimes low-carb, but not often tbh.)

1) I was doing 16:8 for a while, but just switched it up to a 5:2 (Circadian). -That's a 24 hour fast 2xWeek and 5 days a week of "regular", and my regular being not eating between 8pm and 9am at a minimum (usually run 13-16 hours fasting on my 5xWeek days). I do it mostly to keep my weekly CICO in check easier. I like…

There's one on Bulletproof that talks about the 250 calorie thing: https://www.bulletproof.com/diet/weight-loss/low-carb-obesity-study/

Always looking for motivation & to motivate others. I'm gluten-free & following an Intermittent Fasting/CICO "diet". (I'm terrible about exercise though...) Have about 50 lbs to re-lose. Let's support each other!!

I'm allergic to aspartame (like, I carry an epi-pen allergic) and have other bad reactions to other artificial sweeteners. Rather than adding sweeteners at all to your tea, try switching up the type of tea you drink. I've found that the Good Earth Sweet & Spicy is _wonderfully_ sweet all by itself. They have it in a black…

Gave up the Book of Faces... now I need more interaction here! :D Always looking for motivation & to motivate others. I'm gluten-free & following an Intermittent Fasting/CICO "diet". Have about 50 lbs to re-lose...

I'm *koffkoff* twice that, but also looking at 50 lbs to lose - friend request sent! (Also, everyone else is welcome to friend me as well... the more the merrier!)

Welcome! I have fibro as well (diagnosed in 2009 - about 10 years after I started showing symptoms). I've been super lucky that for the most part I'm able to control my chronic pain, fog, & depression with diet and (very little) exercise. I'm happy to chat if you ever need it - I just tossed you a friend request.
-
I'm down for more friends - support & motivation is key. :D

I'm 44 - and just started to learn inline hockey. (I blame my boyfriend.) Not doing too badly, decent with stick/puck handling... but I look like a flamingo on skates! LOL Ooo... @mbaker566 aerial yoga is so cool!

Honestly, artificial sweeteners are one of those YMMV (your mileage may vary) things... For some, they're a complete lifesaver. For others (like me) they could put someone in the hospital (allergic, not happy making figuring THAT out!). For even others, they can be sugar-binge triggers. There aren't a lot of long term…

Hi there! Welcome to Keto! I never have enough hours in the day to do a lot of cooking (although I love to cook), so I end up doing a handful of large portion meals & just eating those all week... My current go-to has been Fathead Bagel Dogs. I do mine with Hot Polish Dogs and they're AMAZING. Here's a page with…

I will often have a "cheese sandwich" for breakfast to go along with my coffee- Two Cauliflower Buns with a slice or two of havarti in the middle. Pop in the microwave for 45 seconds (or into a toaster oven for a bit, if you like it 'toastier'). https://kirbiecravings.com/2016/07/cauliflower-bread-buns.html
