Hello everyone, I am Mike and I am 52. I am not new to weight loss nor MFP. I started in 2014, lost 60 pounds, kept it off for 2 years and have slowly gained 40 back. Honestly, I was easy the first time, but I’ve been trying to get my head back in the game for several months now and it is a real struggle. The mental side…

The high road is always the best and smartest road......I am not very smart, I absolutely hate those attitudes and sometimes, when I’m weak, I will challenge them. Usually it only takes dropping a nugget of science on them and they shut up. Seriously, educate yourself so that when the polite response doesn’t work you can…

No, there’re not. Repeating something doesn’t make it true, it just makes you repetitive. You’re the one spouting bro science, correlation does not equal causation. Link a study showing causation..........I’ll wait.

My off the cuff answer is, refocus on your weighing/measuring/logging and you will probably start moving the scale again. Diet-exercise?????? Chicken-egg??????? It is still just a math equations, expend more than consumed. I think you will be fine when you refocus on the above.

Those convinced against their will are of the same opinion still. My grandmother used to tell me that.
