I just left Weight Watchers too! I wanted to try it but it just doesn't work for me. My biggest gripes with WW are the following: 1. It's not flexible enough for my lifestyle. I usually eat dinner with my family, regardless of what they may be having. They aren't always the healthiest, but I do try to make better choices.…

Wow! Absolutely stunning and amazing. You've really done fantastic. An inspiration to all of us :)

Of course it can be done on 1200 calories a day. That's the bare minimum for women, so yes, you SHOULD lose something.

I found a pretty similar restaurant with calorie descriptions, and it's looking like for a 1/2lb of wing bites i'll be looking at 613 calories. Or for half a dozen wings, i'll be looking at 750 calories. I wish wings weren't so good. Oh well, they'll fit into my calorie budget anyways. Thanks!

They don't have grilled on the menu, unfortunately. It's a very small pizzeria where we're having a birthday party for a family member for dinner. Their options are basically Pizza, French Fries, and wings&wing bites lol

You'll get there too! Fabulous job on the 25.

You look fantastic!! So motivational!!!

I've been weighing it cooked for years. After reading the replies that's probably not the right way, but I'm still not weighing it raw lol. I usually log my food as "cooked chicken" or "cooked pasta" anyway.

My dietician said 1% of your body weight is the best bet. So if you're 300lbs, 3 pounds per week. If you're 250lbs, 2.5lbs a week. If you're 200lbs, 2lbs a week. If you're 150lbs, 1.5lbs a week, etc. So if you weigh 170lbs like stated above, 1.7lbs a week is the MAX on a very strict diet.

I put your stats into a TDEE calculator, which calculates the amount of calories you would need to maintain weight based on your activity level, and the results are below. I assumed you were 19 years old since you state you're in your first year of college. If you're SURE you're eating a max of 1800 calories a day I'd see…

You can bank calories throughout the week. I do! I would hate life if I couldn't have a few drinks or a nice meal on a Friday night. Just be careful eating back ALL of the exercise calories. I agree with the above, can you do half of them? Those machines have a tendency to way over estimate.

When I lost the majority of my weight I was seeing a dietician. She told me realistically you can expect to lose 1% of your weight a week. So if you're at 260 now, the max weight loss you should expect is 2.6lbs. When you start losing weight, that number will get even lower. Right now I am at 194lbs, which means I can only…

I like the Aerie ones. I usually catch them on sale and it ends up being 24$ for two pairs. They aren't see through, and they come in high waist.

Liar Liar. I like Bruce Almighty and The Grinch also. Those are close seconds.

Losing weight is 80% what you eat, 20% exercise. You'll lose weight just fine without a gym. Just stay within your calories and be as active as possible. Walk when you can, park further away from stores when shopping, etc. I don't have a gym membership. I bum off of my friend who has a PF black card and walk around the…

If it's something that you enjoy, don't give it up, just make it work for you. Save the calories for wine instead of a treat!

I can't take birth control without gaining weight like crazy. It's the hormones in the pills. I have an IUD now, and that's better for me. My doctor said that even though there are hormones in the IUD, they get released in the uterus instead of the bloodstream like the pill, so the effects are lessened.

Dieting doesn't work! It's true. That's why you can't diet. You have to look at this as a new life. As the posters above have mentioned, when you reach your goal you cannot expect to go back to eating what you were eating before you lost weight. Of course you can have cheat days. But you cannot have cheat months, and cheat…

If it makes you feel any better, I just turned 27 and lost over 100lbs last year and don't have any loose skin. Also - loose skin looks better than fat. I don't know why people are concerned with it and it honestly seems like just another excuse to me as to why people don't try/wont try to lose weight. Is it more…

Wooooo! you got this

I like both versions! You wont miss anything using either. I prefer the web version for forums because they're easier. But I prefer the mobile version sometimes because it's easier to get notifications in regards to comments on my feed and things like that.

Pretty similar goals here! I already lost about 90lbs, but I'm 42 short of my goal currently. Today's weight = 194, goal is 152! Feel free to add me :)

Thanks for sharing! I definitely relate to this.

I bring breakfast AND lunch everyday and don't microwave, but I do tend to eat "light" throughout the day and eat my biggest meal after work (for dinner). I have a lunch box and it keeps my stuff cold through the day as long as I use two ice packs. This is usually what I have in my lunchbox: Breakfast: A container filled…

A few suggestions: 1. Eat later. If you have the ability, push each meal back an hour starting with breakfast. 2. Save calories for a little later. Substitute the foods you're craving with something comparable (for example, if you're dying for chocolate chip cookies, eat a chocolate chip granola bar. If it's chips you…
