Home sick so cup of noodles with an egg is about all I can manage at the moment.

One of my favorites: everything bagel w dill cream cheese and smoked salmon. Spicy cucumber salad.

Bought lunch at work: beef banh mi and a flourless s’more pudding cup.

Made some from frozen skin on salmon in which I burned the skin and set off my smoke detector and some roasted veg and a salad. Not a great way to end a holiday weekend.

Clam pasta from an Italian place and a kebab plate from a Persian restaurant when I was in San Francisco a couple of weeks ago.

Vietnamese place at the Portland airport, bought an egg roll bowl (I think that’s what it was called) and it was really good. Not a fan of the container it came in.

Work trip eats: chicken Caesar salad and a big bowl of curly fries after 12 hours of travel and only 4 hours of sleep.

Sunday: ran a little under 2.5 miles before my shift. (I was at a customer site for work). The run was disappointing. i was trying to run a strava segment but the sidewalk was out and everything was muddy so I mostly ran in parking lots (because I was looking a cutover to a trail which didn't exist). Traveled back…

Chicken breast and some zucchini fritters. First time making zucchini fritters and they turned out really well! Which is good bc I have SO MANY ZUCCHINIS.

Best thing I’ve made at home for a while: chicken marinated in soy sauce and gocuchang, edamame, corn on rice. A bit of sriracha and some furikake on top. I’m weird about texture and I nailed it w this dish.

Tuesday: push+core: chest press/squat/shoulder press/bar; flutter/scissor kicks at the end for core. I've been slacking on gym strength workouts and running more this summer, so trying to get back into it and find a good balance. Weds: 1.5mi run after work through the neighborhood. At least it was only ~80F.

Post long run. Not pictured: 2 bowls of pretzels and a protein drink. Long run was 1 hr. The mushroom sampler from Costco is amazing.

On the weekends I tend to wait to eat until noon, but I started running again and need to run in the morning before it gets hot. So this is a quick before my longish run breakfast. A couple of mini waffles w my cute new waffle maker. Second time using it was more successful and got me closer to the crispy waffle I like.

Batch cooked some eggs to help with breakfast. It’s eggs, feta, spinach, s/p/garlic. Turned out better than expected.
