  • I used it years ago. Lost some weight. But be careful, it's basically speed.
  • That is SO awesome and SO inspiring! Great job!! :)
  • Thanks @its_cleo and @GummiMundi ! 😊 It feels great to finally succeed, if only a little to start!
  • I’m not interested in your opinions or analogies.
  • Because I've been a member here for like 5+ years, while I've steadily gained more and more weight. Yeah, WW does have its own forums, so I'll just stick to those since the people there are actually supportive of success unlike here apparently. I wanted to post this because I've *kitten* and moaned on here so much for so…
  • That's great! :) Thanks for sharing. :) I just try to plan ahead with healthy and/or zero point foods to snack on at work. Does that not work for you? I agree, it is a great program and easy to follow. :) I needed uncomplicated. To the rest of you, I got nothing. Was just trying to share my excitement that something…
  • Thanks for bumping this! :) I'm enjoying WW so far, it's worked the best for me of any "diet" I've tried in years. I'm down 7 lbs in my first 2 weeks! Thanks for all the advice. :)
  • I have my first WW meeting tonight, wish me luck! I hope I have a good instructor. And in other good news, after my beach weekend this past weekend, I only gained .3 of a pound. I was shocked! But no complaints.
  • Oh lord, that would drive me to quit the very first day!! I hope I have better instructors! 🤞🏼
  • Ugh. Right off the bat, WW can't "find" my lunch, where mfp found it easily. I usually eat the salad kits that are very common these days. Annoying WW can't find it. What do you do when it can't find your meal? If it can't find this, I assume it'll be pretty tough to find most of the meals I eat. Edit: Would I just need to…
  • Thanks - someone else offered that too but they're running a special that ends this Saturday so I went ahead and joined just now. :) Man I hope this works for me! I want it to so badly!
  • My hubby has a much bigger sweet tooth than I do so he tends to buy cookies, ice cream, various snacks such as those that I would never bring home and have in the house. He knows I'm struggling with my weight, so sometimes he "hides" stuff in the back of the pantry (just out of plain sight) for me. But I'm partially to…
  • Looks like I'm joining today, I'm excited! Maybe it can help me stay in line this weekend when I'm at the beach with my family. Thanks to everyone for your advice. :)
  • This might be a dumb question, but how do you decide on a healthy goal weight for yourself? Is it based on height? Or more than that? I have had an idea of my perfect goal weight being 135 (I am 5'5") but that is mainly because that was my weight in high school when I played soccer. In reality, 145-150 would make me happy.…
  • Wow, thank you so much! I'll send you a friend request (if I can remember how)!
  • I think I already commented in this thread that I'd like to fit into the many pairs of skinny jeans I have in my closet gathering dust. But I also want to get rid of these random aches and pains I've acquired in the last 2-3 years. I am at my heaviest. :(
  • Wow, thanks for sharing! I really want to make this work for me and I think if I go to meetings and continue to do so, it will! It makes me feel motivated just imagining it. :) What does it take to become a Lifetime member?
  • Ha. I suggested to my hubby about starting with the cheapest plan (the digital only) to see if that one would work, and he made a good point. He said "don't set yourself up to fail from the start"... good point. Oh and I would definitely stay on here as well. I've been on mfp for years now. Even though I haven't lost…
  • Thanks for your comments so far. I realize the program costs $ and I am willing to pay in order to have some accountability. In fact, I have to pay if I want accountability. My husband offers me none - he's always supportive of everything I want to accomplish, but he's overweight himself and his exercise level is very low.…
  • I am also a 43 yr old woman. And while it's never been easy for me to lose weight, I find it's especially difficult now. I think age is definitely a factor. :(
  • That's awesome, and inspiring. :) I'm curious, what inspired you to make this life change? And what do you do to stay active?
  • This photo is so great, I thought I'd quote it! Good for you!
  • I got sick last week and fell off my diet and workout routine. I'm finding it very difficult to get back in the workout part this week... :( I just hate the gym! I've got to come up with a more enjoyable way to exercise on my own.
  • I want to fit into the multiple pairs of jeans I have in my closet that are too small.

  • CONGRATS! That is truly amazing. I'm following your lead.
  • Thanks for your comments @suzyjmcd2 and @daisyf717 ! I was being extra hard on myself when I posted that. I was feeling hopeless. :( Good news is I've lost 3 lbs this week, so I guess I've figured something out. :) Basically, I've cut out fried foods, cut down on sugar as much as I can, cut down on alcohol (1 glass of red…
  • This helps, thank you!
  • I really don't know. I started to say low carb, high fat is more appealing but the truth is, I've been trying to lose weight for so long and been unsuccessful, I just want to eat however is best for my body to lose weight. :( I do know I have to cut out ALL alcohol, ALL fried foods, ALL sugar (within reason)... Seems as if…
  • Does anyone have a diet they successfully have followed? Not like a fad diet or anything, but meal examples please. I need serious help. Thx.
