  • Holy moly! What a transformation! You have gorgeous, kind eyes, and now they really stand out. Congratulations!
  • Put on a suit today that I bought in the fall - it was a tight Size 12 then (for total vanity reasons, I refused to buy it in a size 14.) It is now REALLY loose - I probably shouldn't have even worn it today. But I don't have any others -gah!
  • I’m down 14 lbs since Christmas and I eat dessert almost every day. And I mean REAL dessert - cookies, ice cream, stroop waffles, chocolate- not “yogurt with berries” fake desserts (no offense to those that really love that lol). Just make sure you’re logging accurately and fit it into your calories.
  • Kee it up! You look fantastic and I’m sure you feel so much better!
  • Oh my pleasure! I did weight loss the painful way 13 years ago (too restrictive, working out two hours a day) and I am positive that period of my life contributed to the injuries that have forced me to take the slower approach this time. I wish I knew then what I know now, so I hope my experience this time around can help…
  • Your legs are killer! Congratulations!
  • Amazing difference! Keep it up!
  • You have a gorgeous figure, you have your health, you have your youth. You have lost 30 lbs as a result of your own very hard work. There's a lot there to be happy about and proud of. What you need to work on - your self esteem and moving on from your past. Like others, I highly recommend counseling/therapy. Best of luck…
  • THIS. I work an office job with very little physical movement, and my primary role is deal negotiation. During two very intense negotiations earlier this year, my deal phone calls registered as exercise on my FitBit due to elevated heartrate during the calls - I assure you, I was not doing lunges during my calls, LOL. You…
  • The good news - you caught yourself before you lost all ground you had gained four years ago. You are not starting over from scratch! You can do this - you know this because you did it before. And yes, stress can derail even the most focused among us - that is what happened to me. Keep up the great work!
  • After going through the torturous process of bathing suit shopping ladt week, I picked two suits that were what I thought were passable, but I was still not thrilled with how I looked in them. I felt like I was seeing no progress despite my 13 lb loss so far and was so disappointed. I’m on vacation now, and wore one…
  • I really enjoy GOOD beer and fine wine. But in my 40s, even one drink just makes me feel like crap. I’m a migraine sufferer, and certain alcoholic drinks trigger them, especially in hormonally elevated times of the month, so I have to be really careful about what I drink and when. Nobody seems to care that I’m not…
  • Over 90 days of food logging!
  • A NSV that actually has caused a problem - my weight loss has put me in between bathing suit sizes. Awesome that I am getting smaller, but now I don't have a suit that fits right for next week, lol.
  • You look amazing! So strong and athletic!
  • You. are. adorable!! Congratulations on your success!
  • Yep - this is me. It happens once in a very great while. I have learned not to beat myself up afterwards - just accept it for what it is, and get back on track. I now like to think about the worst case scenario result of such a binge - 3000 calories may stall my progress towards goal for a week. One week out of my entire…
  • I am one of those people who will bargain with my calorie allotment in order to fit in as much comfort food as I can get, lol (an insatiable sweet tooth here). For me, I think the key to not feeling deprived is to NOT deprive myself at all - just reel in my sweet tooth a little bit. I am eating between 1450 and 1660…
  • I went to visit my folks this weekend. As much as I try, my eating is usually off the charts when I visit them because I am not in control of the food, and frankly, we just hang out and talk and eat and spend time together and eat, and eat and eat, lol. Usually during these weekends, I have not paid attention to or logged…
  • You don't even look like the same person!!! Amazing!
  • I can wear my wedding rings again without my finger feeling like an overstuffed sausage. My husband is pleased, lol.
  • "52 lbs in 52 weeks was the original goal, and I missed it by about 7 pounds. That's 7 weeks where I celebrated holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, or just had really cruddy days and are my feelings. In retrospect, that's 7 weeks where I LIVED my life without giving up on my overall goals. " I am fairly new to the forums,…
  • I accomplished my goal of getting my exercise in before work this week, instead of waiting until after work to do it. Too many excuses and non-excuse derailments if I wait all day - it depends a lot on not being scheduled for last-minute calls at the end of the day for work. It feels great to have already accomplished…
  • My good friend’s mother was a licensed chiropractor for years in the 80s until she left the profession to pursue a career in massage therapy, which, at the time, was a profession in its infancy. I was lucky enough to get regular massages from her (she was amazing - ruined me for life because I haven’t found anyone as good…
  • I could have sworn that Planet Fitness, or Blink or one of those no-contract gyms have daily rates, or some sort of 10-day pass. You should call around.
  • Holy moly - You two are a couple of hot tamales! You look like you not only dropped a ton of pounds, but YEARS off your age!
  • Had to work from home yesterday because of the weather. Working from home usually sends me into a tailspin of eating every sweet thing under the sun (in an office setting, I usually stay within socially acceptable behavior - it is bad for your image to shove four cupcakes into your face in front of your CEO, lol). This…
  • Congratulations on all of this - I too made a job change six months ago, which allowed me to really focus on my health for the first time in a very long time. It's so liberating. Keep up the fantastic work!!
  • You win the internet, lol - congratulations! Today's NSV - since starting a regular exercise routine, my monthly cycle does not seem to have quite the impact on my water weight gain that it used to. I used to gain up to 5lbs in water weight, but the last couple of times around, it's come down to a pound or so. Yay for…
  • I'm a 32F, and the only sports bra that I will use is the Shock Absorber - that thing is a tank, and completely immobilizes me, but it's still comfortable.
