Welcome, feel free to add me. I've recently taken up running and just started CrossFit. Thinking of starting a new CrossFit group on MFP.

Welcome! I'm 44, mom of 2. I don't really suffer from anything except occasional laziness! LOL Recently started running (3 x 10K races coming up this summer) and just started CrossFit.

Google "plant-based" athletes, you will get all your necessary protein from plants.

I hear ya! Since adopting more of a plant based (January) I have been feeling more energetic. The odd time I do consume meat, my stomach doesn't like me much. LOL I'll send you a FR

My aunt needs to stop watching Dr. Oz...she believes everything coming out of that man's mouth! "Honey, make sure you add flax to your oats. It's all about the flax and the chia seeds!"... *face palm*

Maybe a conventional gym isn't for you. I hate the fact that most people these days go to the gym and "hog" the equipment, too busy chatting it up with everyone. Don't get me wrong, I love the social aspect of it but after a 12 hour shift, I just want to workout and go home. I've just found Crossfit and I am HOOKED! Small…

I'm at work, taking calls from stupid people. I'd rather be out running/walking in the park with my dogs.

I came across a recipe last week and I finally tried it yesterday. Google Raw Coconut Lemon Bombs.... OMG!

I've read many stories of people reversing diabetes and bringing their cholesterol to normal levels and eliminating meds completely by adopting a whole foods, plant-based lifestyle. Have you looked into it?

Welcome!

Don't know that I have time to moderate a group but I will try. In the meantime, I will add CrossFitters to my friend list. :)

Hi Jessica, I'm Renée. Recently transitioned (still transitioning) to a whole foods, plant-based lifestyle. Feel free to add me.

I use the Silk Almond non dairy coffee creamer, usually the hazelnut flavor but I occasionally get the vanilla.

I can totally understand that train of thought and the frustration you must of felt. Police (or fire/ambulance) are dispatched immediately once we've ascertained the nature of the emergency. We're not asking to be nosey, it is protocol to obtain caller's personal information for the police file, should they require to…

Do it for yourself, not someone else.

Another reason why I've switched to a whole foods, plant based lifestyle. I know where my food is coming from and what's in it. :)

I'm in. Haven't had a drop since March 15th and have committed to keep going until my godchild's wedding in mid-July. Putting my running and strength training fist!
-
Trying to update my tracker...not going so well... lol

I enjoy a glass of really good red wine but I haven't had a drop since mid March. I decided to make learning to run and getting stronger a priority. I signed up for a 10K race June 3rd and promised myself to abstain until my godchild's wedding in July. Feeling fantastic!
