No, you are not fooling yourself @satchel2008 My first post here in July of 2021 was similar in nature to what you just wrote. Can I do this? Can I stay focused? A number of fellow MFP peeps commented with amazing advice. I was so excited to hear from people who had lost weight and maintained it for years. Frankly, I'd…

My sister gave me her favorite swimsuit because it doesn't fit her anymore since she lost weight. It's a size 16 and it actually fits me and is really cute. I wore it to the pool yesterday. How fun is that? She also gave me some of her hiking pants too. Those are a size 14. I can't wait to get into those. :)

I want to get into all my size 16 jeans comfortably so I can donate all those size 18's. It's the comfortably part that isn't quite there yet...muffin top still a bit too much. :)

@alteredsteve175 Thank you, Steve. So happy to see you back. Sending hugs and prayers to you and your family. A difficult, but critical part of the process.

Still here and plugging away. Just hit 199.6 yesterday, but of course bounced back up to 200.4 today. Just that hint of being under 200 has me smiling and looking forward to the next milestone. :)

Thank you, everyone. I know I missed a few of you. While I don't comment on everything, I do read all of your posts every day and they keep me encouraged and inspired. @CamandJarvis @seeless25 @Nicoles0305 :)

@SheilaBoneham Thanks Sheila. We are all hoping to follow you right into the 170's and beyond!!

@schmoyew You are almost there! We both have been bouncing around. I'm up over 200 this morning, which isn't totally unexpected with the ups and downs. But my trend is still downward. And @PrimalJillian is almost there too! I'll be happy dancing for both of you in the next week. I think I'm still in a bit of denial, but…

Thank you @jessicakrall8 @Yukie_OP @musicsax and @hipari Only 39.6 pounds to go!! :)
-
@jenkindo @AR10at50 Thank you both!! I'm so excited. I couldn't have done it without everyone's encouragement and support. Now trying to temper the excitement knowing I'll be bouncing up and down a bit until I finally settle in to the 190's. :)
-
Thank you @enlightenme3 I honestly never thought I'd get here. Now on to the 180's. :)

Woohoo! Today is the day... @coblujay Wednesday Weigh-in PW- 201.0 CW- 199.6!!! Bouncing back and forth since Christmas, but finally below 200. I swam yesterday and got all my water in. I'm sure I'll be bouncing a bit up and down but will solidly be in the 190's in the next few weeks and then it's on to the 180's. :)

@schmoyew and @200karen You've got this! Right now is the time not to give in or give up. These are the moments where we've all given up in the past, me included. If you need to, reset at maintenance for a week or two and give yourself some grace and then jump back in. I've been 250+ for the last 20+ years and never…

At Orange Theory, there are days when the workout is with partners. As an example, the time it takes for me to row 150 meters, my partner needs to be doing jump squats. The slower I am, the more jump squats my partner needs to do. I used to be self conscious about being so slow. Yesterday...I wasn't the least bit…

@MaggieGirl135 Glad to hear that exercise is going great. You can do this! Just make little changes at a time. Start logging accurately, including weighing your food, even on those days when you go over calories. Log your weight each day and you'll be able to see how what you eat relates to fluctuations in your weight.…

Six month update: I started 2022 at the lowest weight and probably in the best shape in the last 20+ years. In the past, I remember thinking...if I can just get to 230 and stay around that number...if I can just get to 216...and it never happened. Until now...when I'm believing that I'll get to 160 this year and then feel…

@Beka3695 and @hipari I think most of the fitness trackers do the same things these days. The Garmin I was using was the cheap $99 model. The Apple Watch was around $500. I love that it tracks my swimming and love the ring challenges. I do have the heart rate and oxygen monitors on this watch, which I do check…

@coblujay Wednesday weigh-in PW: 202.0 CW: 201.0 @Beka3695 Loved learning more about your journey. Thanks for sharing and bravo on five months sober! @jessicakrall8 Thanks for all your encouragement for everyone. You make this group such a friendly and inspiring place to be.
