@avatlach Bravo! It's so much fun to show them that they make a difference. Congrats!! Just wait until they see us next time. :)

@cmriverside Thank you. I'm so lucky to have a great doctor and all of you here cheering me on! :)

Today was the day. Almost a year to the day when my doctor suggested weight loss surgery, I went in for my annual physical. The Physician's Assistant weighed me in and then we went back in the room where she started entering data in the computer. Then, she squealed with excitement! I was down 74 pounds from when I was…

@sparkuvu We are completely on the same track. I bought an Instapot, because that was the thing. I used it about ten times and realized I can use my crockpot and get the same result. The Instapot hasn't been used for months. I thought about an air fryer, but I'd use it even less. I did look at the Creami, too, but have…

@ashleycarole86 Beautiful before and after, Ashley. I'm so happy for you. Thanks for adding your tips!

I love all your posts too. They always seem to come at the right time, when I need a little encouragement or a good laugh. I don't spend a lot of time cooking, so it feels a little tough to do all the steps you list. I think I just need to take a day, play and see what happens. Sometimes what I think is going to take…

@enlightenme3 Woohoo! Congratulations. :)

@CamandJarvis Love it! Thank you for being so detailed and thoughtful. That helps me a lot and will help others too. You've had so much going on and I love seeing you still here and determined. @wakegrrl Hmmm...I need to log before I eat more often. I think I could really benefit from that one. Haha! I want it all NOW too.…

This group is filled with people who have lost their weight and have now been maintaining for some time, those who are well on the way in the journey to health and many who are early in the process. Would you mind sharing your top 2-3 things that have made a difference for you in this process and a few of the challenges?

@ashleycarole86 You go Ashley!! It's going to be an amazing day. Celebrate your fabulous accomplishment. You'll hear us cheering for you as you walk in the door! :)

@maureensmith1220 and @GigiBoise5 What I discovered is that MFP and the people here are wonderful, have great suggestions and are very inspirational, but it's up to me to control myself. I don't have food in the house that I used to overeat. I do have one indulgence meal a week where I eat whatever I want and that helps me…

@fatty2begone I will definitely do that. I can't wait to see what I look like in the skirts. Fingers crossed. :)
-
@agarcia6263 Keep going! I did lose out of my first size of pants in about twenty pounds but it's taken way more weight loss and time to get down further. Swimming has helped a lot in reconfiguring my body, especially my bum which was always one of my largest areas of concern. :)

I just ordered fun and colorful skirts in size 14 from Thredup, in preparation for a big event on April 30th. I can't wait to try them on and find the perfect one for this charity art auction. It's going to be my "reveal" party. The majority of people don't know me yet, but I'll be hard to miss in all that color!!

Thinking of you, Mel. So happy they found it so you can have surgery.

@swimmom_1 Wow! That's amazing. Congrats.

@skyler103 You have, Skyler. I love seeing your updates in my feed. Thanks for coming along for the ride. :)

@avatiach I'll definitely let you know what the doctor says. Hopefully, he says something. Haha! I don't know what I'd do without all of our fabulous cheerleaders. They have made all the difference!

@healingmysticmelody Bravo, Melody. Congrats on being 11 weeks in. Those weekly losses add up more quickly that you imagine. I can't wait to celebrate your updates! Thrift stores will be your best friend. I've found some really fun and fabulous clothes along the way that I've worn and then donated back again. :)

@coblujay Wednesday weight in PW: 190 CW: 190.2 A busy week co-chairing a huge art show that was an incredible success for all the artists. It was definitely worth the extra grazing I did since I didn't make time for lunch. Back on track!!

Hi everyone. I'm Jennifer from Denver. I started this weight loss journey in May of last year with lots of fear and a lack of confidence that I could make it happen. The encouragement from my sister, who lost fifty pounds and is at goal weight, and everyone here on MFP has been priceless. As of today, I'm 73.9 pounds down…

Oh @lauriewrobo I'm so sorry to hear that. I lost my kitty, Bubba, just a few weeks ago. After a very full life of almost eighteen years, I'm so grateful I could hold him as he passed. Sending love and hugs!!
