  • Oh my gosh, I have to make the ginger snaps! I love them and have missed them!
  • Love this! Yay for teamwork! I know there are a lot of folks just starting out on Keto and this is probably a frequently asked question! Thanks for sharing!
  • Yes, great suggestion! The first time I ever tried Keto, I got a lot of muscle cramps and this was suggested.
  • The MFP app doesn't track net carbs, so I do that manually. But, there is a script you can download for Net Carb tracking if you use the web-based MFP. This is where I found the instructions to do that: https://cavemanketo.com/configuring-mfp/ Hope that helps!
  • The dilly bar is no sugar added, but it's definitely not sugar free.
  • This is just an example. Sometimes it's easier to find "like" items as well. For example, I went to dinner with family at a small local restaurant, therefore their menu is not on MFP. Sometimes you have to guesstimate. Also, I go off net carbs. Some people chose to do Total carbs. For me net carbs works and is giving me…
  • @lakishamorton Where do you get the Annie Chun Sesame Seaweed snacks? They sound delicious! Update: Nevermind, I did some Googling. I see they have them at my local Giant Eagle. Definitely going to get some! Thanks for the heads up!
  • One of my favorite and easiest desserts is: Keto Mouse To make Keto Mouse you'll need:* 8 oz. Cream Cheese (softened) * 1/2 c. Sour Cream * 3 tbs. Heavy Whipping Cream * .3 oz. Box of Sugar-Free Flavored Jell-O (you can use pudding, too, but it usually has more carbs) * (Optional) Your favorite artificial Sweetener (with…
  • Someone just posted about how much they liked this recipe for Creamy Tuscan Chicken and I had to share it after checking it out. I think this is going to be made very soon in my house! I also came across these 2g Net Carb Fettuccine Noodles made with Lupin flower that I've been dying to try, so I may be pairing these! If…
  • Wow, this is the first real thing I've come across for Keto! I love all of this! I started a Keto Support Group here on My Fitness Pal because I wasn't finding anything here about Keto except for skeptical articles. I love all these posts! Keep up the good work everyone and thanks for the delicious ideas! :yum:
  • There are a lot of health benefits to Keto and ultimately you should do what feels right for you. Just a couple of tips that I can think of off the top of my head are:* Know that your first week of Keto you'll lose mostly water weight. * Always plan ahead for your meals and make sure you have low carb snacks at the ready!…
  • Personally, I think it's great you're starting Keto! There are a lot of health benefits to it and I think you should do what feels right for you. • My name is Caitlin, and I've been back and forth with Keto for a few years now. June 10th, 2018 I started Keto again and have been pretty successful in my first week, losing 13.8 lbs. I know that number sounds alarming, but I've read that often in your first 2 weeks of Keto, you lose a lot of water weight. In addition to…
  • I'm trying to tone my arms and I love to dance, so I've been dancing while holding some five pound weights. It's fun and doesn't feel like exercise that way. It also allows me to focus on different muscle groups, too! I listen to about 3-5 songs which can put me at about 12-25 minutes. I also use YouTube for quick exercise…
  • A few of my favorite, less complicated snacks, meaning, you don't have to do much in order to eat them, are: -String Cheese/Cubed cheese -Whisps (again cheese, but baked. Eat as croutons, by themselves, or with dips) -Almonds (Aldi's has Southern Grove unsalted) -Elevation Bars: Carb Conscious (at Aldi's, too. They come in…
  • This is a great suggestion! I made some discussions for Recipes. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Snacks, so future new members will be able to easily find recipes.
