  • 30 carbs per meal is my goal at present though not really "low carb" My last ALc was 6.6( 49) (about 118 L/Mg.dl) a big drop from previous ones I think you would see improved results if your graph above was 90 carbs per day evened over 3 meals You are your own health manager -try it and see Go well!

  • I have recently been taken off metformin after 20 years as it was leaching B12 from my body so I had B12 injections for a year and then the metformin was discontinued. Also leaches out other vitamins minerals etc and caused diarrhoea and gastric upsets for years but I did not link this to metformin!
  • fantastic How did you do it?
  • try giving up night snack, have nothing after dinner and see if thiseaffects morning BSugars
  • Cut out evening snacks, we have oranges for dessert. Byron Richards on Leptin advises 5hours between eating and nothing after dinner to give system time to rest and repair and reduce excess insulin secretion, that comes to cope with food influx. Every time you eat you start the digestive cycle again and body thinks it must…

  • metformin caused diarrhoea and stomach cramps though I have been\n on it for years, just didn't connect the symptoms with metformin until I learned that I had very low B12 ( and low iron) due to this being leached out of my system by metformin B12 injections for a year), , also other nutrients lost so OFF METFORMIN Haven't…
