Could it be that you are losing fat but gaining muscle ? It weighs more, but is much healthier. Try taking measurements rather than using your weight as a bench Mark. Don't stop the good work though, your heart and knees will thank you later.

Can you try to up your exercise regime during the festivities? Go for a good walk or two? Take some friends with you? Try to pick the healthier options available, but still enjoy yourself. Don't restrict yourself the we before, it's nonproductive, just get back on track afterwards and add extra walks/exercise for a while.…
