  • Sorry to hear that! That happens to me almost every time I'm not able to work out for a while; when I restart, I always gain before losing again. I'm guessing you're not restarting though. I hope this is a one-time thing and you'll be back to losing again soon!

  • What I do when I feel hungry but don't want a lot of extra calories is drink a glass of water, chew gum, or eat a slice of cheese or a banana. The water is actually the one that works best for me. Good luck with your weight loss, hope you are successful and stay healthy!
  • For me, it's almost exactly 3 pounds every time, which shows up 3 days ahead and leaves the 2nd day after onset. I have a ridiculously short and very reliable 21 day cycle so that gain eats up a lot of time, so much so that I used to try to just stay 3 pounds under my ideal weight so it wouldn't matter so much.
  • I'm 44 and need to lose weight to stay healthy. I let my weight creep up, and found that at a certain point, I am constantly ill! So at least I now have great motivation to get thin. I've lost 12 pounds and am physically stable, but would be even better off if I lost another 23 pounds. I'm trying to add some friends but…
