Take your desired weight & multiply by 10 (11 for men). This is the number of calories without exercise you would need to maintain that weight. So if a woman weighs 230 pounds, she would have to eat 2,300 calories per day. If she eats less than that she will lose weight.

Walking does work! I have been walking since November 1, 2017 and have lost 117.2 pounds. I only have 53 to go.
